25.01.2022 Earlier this year, planning started on our Carols in the Park Event for 2020. This year, we chose a new venue and to coincide this event with the 1 year anniversary of the Yanchep Bushfires with a selected and planned date of December 12th. We had applied for our funding grant, done our event notification and reached out for quotes and begun organising the format of the event. However, it is with a heavy heart that the Yanchep Two Rocks Community Recreation Association have, ...by unanimous vote, cancelled the planned Carols in the Park Event 2020. With planning for this event put on hold due to COVID-19, there were many factors to consider when voting on whether to continue with this event or not. The Carols in the Park Event has been an integral part of our community and Association for over 30 years, making this decision even harder. However, in the best interests of the community and our ability in these times to host an event the community deserves, it was unanimously voted not to continue with the Carols Event for 2020. We thank every one for their continued support of our Association and look forward to hosting future events for our community.

22.01.2022 Just wanted to congratulate Charlotte Cleary and the amazing crew for putting together the Yanchep Fire Thank You day. This was a great initiative by a small group of people who took on a large task. It was a fantastic event and wonderful day for everyone. As President of the Yanchep Two Rocks Community Recreation Association I wanted to express my sincere thanks to our wonderful community for coming together to put on such a great day and for showing your support to the... Heros in the Emergency Service groups. I am sure everyone will remember this day of giving our thanks to all involved in the Yanchep Fires. To all the volunteers, sponsors ,donors, supporting performers and of course the Emergency service groups that attended a huge thank you. 14.01.2022 We will be holding our annual fundraising sausage sizzle at Bunnings Warehouse Mindarie on the 29th November there will be 3 shifts that we need to fill. anyone interested in helping out on this day please contact Julie with availability 7.30 - 10.30, 10.30 - 1.30 and 1.30 to 4.30. 5 volunteers needed per shift. All proceeds will go back into our communtiy for events such as the Australia Day Breakfast.

10.01.2022 We could not be happier and prouder to have supported the Yanchep Fire Thank You Day and the sub-committee chaired by our Secretary Charlotte Cleary. A great amount of funds raised!!! Charlotte is looking into other possible fundraisers she could chair, so if you know of a wonderful volunteer community group who could do with a boost in financial and community support, then please feel free to message us or Charlotte directly.

09.01.2022 All set for the Volunteers Breakfast at Yanchep Inn expecting around 110 volunteers this morning. A big shout out to City of Wanneroo and to The Yanchep Inn for supporting our event. The Volunteers breakfast has been going for 20 years and is to give thanks to our community volunteers.

06.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Just wanted to say a huge thank you to so many wonderful people that helped with the set up , cooking, serving and the tiresome pack down. We served 550 breakfasts today for Australia Day. We hope everyone had a great morning with music by Pete and Mick and the huge bouncy castle for the kids. Great support from Yanchep Sun City Pty Ltd, Mr Anonymous and also to Sun City Church for not using their booking today and allowing us to use the hall. Congratulations ...to all the award recipients! - Citizen of the Year awarded to Chris Young - Youth Acheiver awarded to Dylan Marsh - Group of the Year a combined Fire and Emergency Services award given to Yanchep Fire and Rescue Service, Two Rocks Volunteer Bushfire Brigade and the Two Rocks SES. There were also Acheivement medals presented to Jemma Tapper, Keyshia McCarthy, Cara Dziegielewski and Abigail Graham and achievement certificates presented to Nate Otremba, Lauren Coffey, Keira West, and Jesse West.
