25.01.2022 It was great to see the Adelaide 36ers play in their new home at the Adelaide Entertainment Center. My husband played for them in their early days. He got paid $10 a winning game! My how times have changed!

24.01.2022 A number of years ago I posted this list of the top 25 most poisonous snakes in the world. The snakes in red are the ones in Australia. The original post had about 10 snakes listed in Australia, but readers of my FB page kept adding to the list until we ended with what you see here. Im not sure how accurate the list is as I did not fact-check what readers said. If you know any of the snakes in red are NOT in Australia, please leave your comments below so I can correct this list. Honestly, Im praying the list is smaller. Im so paranoid of snakes, living here...especially since I almost stepped on a brown snake shortly after moving here!

Koalas have been among the hardest hit of Australias native animals because they are slow moving and only eat leaves from the eucalyptus tree, which are filled with oil, making them highly flammable.
