20.01.2022 [family recipes] Yardup has been home to the Milne family since the early 1900s. Not only do we share the history of Yardup through stories & photographs, we also learn about the days gone by from gathered recipes & family cook books. 14.01.2022 Formerly a functioning and practical accommodation for travelling shearers, Yardup Shearers Quarters has more recently found a new lease on life while retaining its authentic appeal. The Quarters sleeps up to 12 people in six dorm-style rooms, making it ideal for groups looking for a real rural Australian experience. You’ll feel light years away from the hustle and bustle of city life as you swap stories by the communal campfire looking over the Stirling Ranges (for use in non-restricted fire months only). The Quarters have been operating as short-stay accommodation at Yardup since 2002, when the last of the travelling shearing teams stopped staying on-farm.
