23.01.2022 For those members planning to join us for lunch on Saturday December 7th, please note there has been a change of venue due to catering issues. The luncheon will now be at the Drakesbrook Hotel, South West Highway Waroona, at 12.00pm.

22.01.2022 Saturday May 13 we get to celebrate Australind being 175 years old. This is a very informal, fun history day and everyone is welcome to come and spend the day just enjoying this great place. Please share this with anyone you think would like to see it.

Such a tragedy, but Im glad we ...got to visit it just weeks before it was gone forever. It was a magical place full of equipment and machines left just as they were the day the workshops closed. Amazing relics of a bygone era in which everything was made and maintained by hand. See more

12.01.2022 This man built a pipe organ at the Yarloop Steam Workshops out of recycled parts and gave a recital the day we visited (just weeks before it burnt down).

01.01.2022 Very exciting news - the vault has now been opened, and the contents look like they did on 6th January 2016! One of the most remarkable outcomes to date. All the historical documents held in the vault are in fantastic condition!
