22.01.2022 Im away as of this Friday (Ill be here ). My shop is on pause, and orders are at a standstill until December 12. When I return, wall hangings will be on pause while I get some big orders out of the way. Necklaces will always be avail, and earrings too. Ill be back mid December!

I have hit a bit of a creative wall and really needed to take a step back from making things, as it just hasnt felt as enjoyable for me. However, Ive been invited to a little event this morning and decided to whip something up to wear. It felt good to make something again! 08.01.2022 Material selection and design planning! My first large weave is in motion. Im planning to use my new Osprey loom from @lostpondlooms to make a whopper of a piece! Very exciting and scary time to be honest. But @bronnie.ware always talks about the quote "dreams come a size too big so you can grow into them" and I feel like that definitely applies to my weaving journey. Slowly growing into it. Also, while Im rambling, I want to welcome all my new followers! Thank you for joining me!! The silk necklace Maryanne Moodie kindly posted about will be for sale on my Etsy by the end of this week. 01.01.2022 I have to say welcome to my new followers! Yesterday my phone was lighting up a whole lot as you all came by my feed to visit, and it was a really lovely feeling . For those who dont know what Im on about, Maryanne Moodie held a launch for her book #ontheloom here in Byron Bay this week and I decided go along (Der! Wouldnt miss it) and wear a necklace I had woven. After a great chat about inspiration, design, and community, Maryanne asked me to email her when the necklace... I had on would be for sale, as she would love to buy one. I took it straight off and gave it to her! She wore it for the rest of the launch & then kindly posted about it on her feed. It was a special moment for me as lately I have struggled a lot with confidence around my work. So to have you all stop by after seeing that photo is beyond heartwarming. Thank you! And for those who have asked, yes it will be for sale on my Etsy very soon! Watch this space See more

01.01.2022 My woven necklaces, as worn by Maryanne Moodie, are now on Etsy. Im almost finished a batch, as you can see there are just a few finishing touches to go. Limited number of dark grey left, but I will make more once new materials arrive! I ran out of dark grey during making the piece on the far right, as you can see.. hehe. Ballerina pink, fuchsia & light grey are also available These babies feature beautiful vintage Ethiopian beads, are made of silk and handmade by me.. 100% my own blood, sweat and tears (didnt get any on the silk though, I promise!).
