13.01.2022 So I bough a Volvo XC90 2004 model It has a good service history from Volvo up to 140000k then the last 2 years was second owner took it too lets say a big supermarket chain that does car servicing too starting with a K .... Here is the result in foto what a cheap oil does to your engine in the space of 40000k with a service in between ... The dark brown colour on the camshaft is a severe varnish deposit, light brown is acceptable and not armful but in this case that was on the limit of damaging the engine Engine varnishing can be caused by multiple factor, oil oxidation, lubricant contamination, multiple short trips , low oil quality, PCV system blocked or broken.... Cost of oil is not only because of packaging, its a lot of development, testing and chemical additives involved. Do your engine a favour and your wallet in long term, use good lubricant and filters and service your car according to the type of driving you do, short trip ( less than 20k ) in winter might consider 8000k, long trip can do 10000k or 15000k according to manufacturer specs

09.01.2022 This is how we check a good or a bad injector on a common rail system, if you see someone unplug an injector to test it then its probably best to walk away quickly!
