25.01.2022 Hello lovely people, Jess here just wanting to let you all know the pantry is currently still up and running, so for anyone who has been hit hard by these uncertain times please remember that if you require some food or basic essentials then come an down and grab what you need. And to anyone that would like to donate please do so at anytime. The community pantry 100% donation run so please if you can spare anything it would mean to world to someone in need.... And for the health an safety of our community I would like to ask that all donations are in unbroken sealed packaging, thank you for your understanding and support.

Pantry update, we have had some wonderful community members make some donations this week so we have plenty of supply's for those that just a helping hand. So please if you need any Pantry items to help you get a long then please come on down and help your self's to what you need. But as always please only take what you need so there is enough for others. To anyone wanting to make a donation to the community pantry please feel free to do... so any time of day. 15.01.2022 Hey all, Just wanted to write a quick message to let you all know that we do NOT accept food past it’s USED BY date! Or certain foods past their BEST BEFORE date! We have recently had a lot of food donated to us some of which had contents of meat, for example soup with meat chunks. This food was 2-3years past its best before. This is not edible and was disposed of immediately. ... It is extremely unfair to the families that are in need to feel like they only deserve expired foods. There is still a lot of food that I have personally written expired on the foods that SHOULD still be edible past their best before dates. If you are unsure what foods are safe past their used by dates just google, your item of food and the storage life of these foods. Also another thing to add we are a Community Pantry. We do NOT have bed frames or mattresses, whipper snippers or any electrical items to give away and we certainly do not take them. We only stock what you would find in your pantry, foods items and personal hygiene products. Also if I do not reply to your message or comment on our posts, please do not comment on posts and message our page 9 different times with only question marks. I have a 1 year old daughter and I run a home beauty business, I am usually always busy but I do always try and reply as soon as I can. Hence why the address for the Community Pantry is pinned to the top page. We are a non for profit Community Pantry! We are so blessed by each and every donation made. Please do not feel obligated to knock or message us if you need something, please help yourself.

14.01.2022 Good afternoon yarrabilba, As some of you may know I(Jessica) have been running the pantry for a while now but sadly I can no longer give it as much time as need for the up keep so I have had to pass the mantel on the amazing April Correa, she is a very willing volunteer who has agreed to taking on the responsibility of carer of the pantry. So please welcome April and be kind an courteous as she sets up the pantry in its new location.... Its been a pleasure to house the pantry for so long and it has been an amazing experience to help so many people. Hope every one has an awesome evening

07.01.2022 Hey all, Just a quick update, the Yarrabilba Community Pantry is now in this cupboard (same address). The roller door will be closed from 9pm daily and be opened at 5am, to stop the ants and bugs getting in. ... but please feel free to come and open it up yourself. It will also be closed during wet weather as a lot of food has been destroyed lately due to rain. Please respect and do not break the new cupboard as it is my personal property. I hope you all have a blessed 2021!

03.01.2022 Good morning lovely people and a happy fathers day to all you lucky blokes. The community pantry is here for the whole community to use and help each other out when in need. So I would like to ask our fantastic community that if you have anything that you would be willing to donate to our pantry it will be much appreciated, as we are running low on the basics such as pastas, jar sauce and some tinned food (spaghetti, soups, ect).... Also if anyone has any personal hygiene items such as toothpaste, toothbrushs, pads, tampons ect, it could help a fellow member of our community greatly.
