21.01.2022 Please note that it is illegal to trap any native wildlife, including any native birds, and including currawongs and noisy miners. This is a message from Bill H...andke, the president of CIMAG. Thanks to Bill for writing this for us: "Our concern over Indian Mynas is the threat they pose to our wildlife, to horticulture, their risk to human-health, and the loss of social amenity because of their noise, fouling of patios etc. The general public accept the need to humanely trap and cull mynas because of these threats. This is our "social license". But the public and government attitude to native species - even where they may be a nuisance - is very different. Accordingly, it is illegal to trap and kill native birds (or other native animals). For this "social license" to continue, we need both government and public support: this support will be totally lost if the myna control program turned into a broader program of trapping and killing any native animals that some myna trappers found distasteful or annoying. We must guard against being tarred as "red-neck" killers, otherwise myna control programs will be banned by governments."

12.01.2022 We do recommend baiting the traps with catfood...but I have never before caught a cat!! This is what i found in mytrap this morning! Indian myna traps can be multi purpose!!

02.01.2022 Time to set up your traps everyone. The mynas are on the move! I have caught 17 in the last few days after having seen none for many months. They were very clearly a mixture of young and old.
