23.01.2022 Weve been very luck so far in our little town to have avoided the second wave of Covid19, and wed like to keep it that way. So please, do not come to the Laundry if you or any member of your household is showing any symptoms, if you have been advised to get tested, or you are awaiting test results. We are asking this for everyone in our little towns sake.... We believe the Laundromat is an essential service during this time, and we are doing our very best to keep things running as usual, but we need all your help to do so. 23.01.2022 So today we sit and wait to see what our Premier announces about a possible easing of restrictions. All we know moving forward is that as long as we are homeschooling our children, we will not be able to re-open the counter 5 days a week. But we hope we will be able to open for a few hours on a Wednesday. As always, if there is anything you need, please contact us by phone, email or social media, and we will do our best to help.... 22.01.2022 For anyone who needs to use our laundromat facilities during this time of COVID19 uncertainty, this is still the best advice we have been able to find. While we have closed the counter at the Commercial Laundry we will still be popping in to clean each day. Please help us help you by leaving everything in a clean and tidy state. We are sanitizing surfaces when we clean, but we would recommend that you clean surfaces before and after you use the machines if you are able. We do... have a limited supply of wipes for this purpose, or you can use your own products. Please be aware that we could be told to close at any point by the government. Unlikely, but who knows what lays ahead for all of us. 18.01.2022 *LAUNDROMAT OPEN AS USUAL* After lots of discussions and soul searching, we have made the hard decision to shut the counter at the Commercial Laundry as of 12 noon Tuesday the 24th of March. We will open from 10 - 12 noon on Mondays only, for as long as our Dry Cleaning partner continues to offer a service. They have confirmed with me today that for the moment they will be back to once a week pickups, but this could change at any moment.... We will still be working behind closed doors to service our existing Commercial Customers for as long as they continue to operate, but we feel the risk of cross contamination is to great to keep the counter open. Add to all of this, we will now need to look at my ability to continue our childrens education at home, and in all honesty, there are only so many balls I can keep in the air at once. Someome will be in and out daily to look after the Laundromat, so if there is anything you need, please call (03) 51825201 and leave a message. We will call you back when we can. Please bare with us in these difficult times. P.s. It pains me to have to say this, but after some peoples behavior today, any abuse of myself or my staff will not be tolerated.

18.01.2022 We are left scratching our heads tonight as to what will happen to our business over the next few weeks and possibly months. And watching the press conference by the PM tonight has not really made things any clearer All we can say with any certainty is that the Commercial Laundry will be open tomorrow, Monday 23rd of March. 18.01.2022 As Im sure you can all understand, getting clear advice on what to do in regards to COVID 19 is quite difficult. This is the best advice we can find, but please be aware, it is just that, advice. It appears the virus does not like heat. We have been told anything above 57 degrees celcius. Again just advice. ... We will be increasing the water temperature to the laundromat for that reason. Unfortunately, that water has to travel a distance to reach the machines so we are unsure what temp it will be when it gets there. I have personally tested the dryers with a temperature gun. The loads I tested, the high setting is reaching a temperature of approx 75. The medium is reaching approx 65. Make sure you dont overload the dryers so that all clothing is getting hot enough. We are unsure, and cant get clear advice, on what the new 4 meter guidelines mean for us. So we advise all of our customers to be aware of their own social distancing. 16.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Now that regional Victorian restrictions have eased we will be opening the counter to the Commercial Laundry from 10-1 on Wednesdays only, starting 23rd September. We will reassess these hours once our boys are back to on-site learning.... We ask that everyone coming to the counter wears a mask unless they have a medical exemption. There will be days that you hear us working behind closed doors, please understand that we are doing this to try and minimise any risk of cross contamination to our commercial customers. As Im sure you can appreciate, this virus has changed the ways a lot of us will conduct business, and we will definitely be no exception. We thank everyone for your support during these difficult times, and I know you will join us in hoping that the worst is now behind us. Stay safe, and see you all next week.

Unfortunately the mural planed for our shop hit a bit of a road block, and wont be going ahead in this batch. There will also be 1 Thursday a month that we will be closed from 12 noon so I can take above child to OT appointments in Sale.... 04.01.2022 Anyone else experiencing deja vu today? So once again we are going back into lockdown, and for those of us with kids, its back to remote learning. So we will again be shutting the counter to the Commercial Laundry from 1pm Wednesday 5th August. If you have drycleaning you need to collect, or you want to stock up on gravy or laundry supplies, please come and see us before then.... The Laundromat will continue to remain in operation unless we are given an express directive that we must close. Please help us to be able to remain open by leaving things in a clean and tidy state. Unfortunately we have had quite a few people lately that think they dont need to do that and leaving a big mess behind. AND DONT FORGET YOUR MASK. If you need us, we are only a phone call away. The business phone has been redirected to a mobile phone. We live in an area with not great reception though, so bear with us if you cant get through. 04.01.2022 We know that toilet paper is hard to find in Yarram at the moment! We have rolls of 2 ply X 400 sheets available for $1. This will be limited to 3 rolls per customer to make sure we can supply those who need it.... We are also trying to source some hand sanitizer for our weigh and pay system. Rest assured we are doing our best to try and source more, but it sounds like IF we can get more, we will be restricted on how much me can order.... If this is the case, we will be forced to bring it back to 1 roll per person. We are sorry it has come to this, but until the madness stops, our hands will be tied. 01.01.2022 *LAUNDROMAT OPEN AS USUAL* Just letting you all know that we will be opening the counter at the Commercial Laundry from 10-12 on Wednesdays only for the moment. So if you are needing soap powders, pine cones etc, pop in then and we can help. We will still be offering drycleaning, but it is only being picked up in the early hours of Wednesdays at the moment. Please feel free to contact us, and we will do our best to meet you to get drycleaning ready to go.... We wont be offering a service wash for the time being. This is to protect our commercial customers from as much risk as possible. We want to take this opportunity to thank all of our community for working with us through this difficult time.
