23.01.2022 YOG TERTIARY CONVERSATIONS THAT COUNT: Our Year 12 students were delighted to be joined this afternoon by: Linda Burchett (YOG 2016), a Medical student at Monash University; Ishra Ranatunge (YOG 2018), a Psychology & Media student at the University of Melbourne; Max Sammann (YOG 2019), a Commerce student at the University of Melbourne; and Louis Tran (YOG 2016), an Engineering and Commerce student at Monash University. The YOGs shared their experiences of uni life and gave some great insight and advice to the students. 14.01.2022 LITTLE BOOKS BIG LIBRARY Last Wednesday our Junior School Students took part in Little Books Big Libraries. A day for our students, families and staff to immerse themselves in the creative design process of authoring their own story, centred around friendship and togetherness. The Junior School was treated to video messages from authors Andy Griffiths (YOG 1979) and Carrie Edwards-Britt (YOG 1999). Rev Joy also created a special episode of Yarras Brush with Joy for the day. The Junior School community posted videos of their story planning and published in excess of 265 digital stories of all styles and formats, with a message of the importance of friendship.
