24.01.2022 If you are looking for a special gift during these restrictions, remember this famous local icon. My kids always beg to visit Geppetto’s in Sassafras, and who could blame them. It’s every kids’ dream! Now Geppetto’s is online they have you covered even during restrictions. Local delivery will also remove the stress out of postage delays.

22.01.2022 If you are within 5km of Monbulk be sure to pop in and say hi to Grant at Empire Beans Coffee. Grant is as passionate about his coffee as he is for the local community. Stop in and buy a brew (or beans).

22.01.2022 Due to the new restrictions, Quirky and The Jakster will be closing for the next 6 weeks. :-( BUT!! They are open late today and tomorrow before restrictions come in on Thursday. Now I know most of us are slothing around in our tracky dacs at the moment, but come Summer when we WILL have gotten through this, we'll look at our wardrobe and go yoiks! I've been told that when restrictions temporarily lifted a few weeks ago, Quirky sold out of everything!!! So, the best idea is to pop in today and tomorrow and get in early before the marauding fashionistas hit in 6 weeks. Not only will you be helping a small business, the item might just come to represent 'that time in iso' for you.

20.01.2022 ** Local Shops Guide ** As promised I have created a Local Retail Guide of businesses that have switched to selling online during Stage 4 restrictions. It's a good start but will continue to grow. Sales are contactless, with businesses either using Australia Post only, or providing local delivery or click and collect within 5km. Visit the stores sites for details. If you have friends and family interstate wanting to send birthday, Fathers Day or ' Sorry You're in Stage 4' gi...fts for us sorry lot in Victoria, please be sure to tell them about this guide and encourage them to buy locally (to us). Similarly if you know people wanting to show support for Victoria and the Dandenong Ranges, tell them about this guide too. I can send a pdf if you prefer. Thankfully our local businesses have been quickly adapting, some offering postage, some home delivery. We need to hear all about these!!
