07.01.2022 We are now Re-Open for members to play tennis! The list of guidelines have been taken from Tennis Victorias guidelines, the DHHS guidelines and adapted to our ...club and its specific circumstances. We would like to plead with members that they adhere to these guidelines as the consequences of not adhering are extremely serious. IF WE AS A CLUB CANNOT ABIDE BY THESE GUIDELINES THEN NOT ONLY ARE WE RISKING PEOPLES HEALTH BUT WE WILL BE LEFT WITH NO ALTERNATIVE THAN TO SHUT THE CLUB DOWN AGAIN. * We strongly urge all club members to download the Covid19 APP as this will greatly assist tracking if necessary for any member who uses our facilities. * The Clubhouse will remain closed for any gathering of members. Under no circumstances are members allowed to use the kitchen or other areas of the clubhouse. * The only reason to enter the clubhouse is to register your name on the list of people who are using the courts, use the toilets or to turn the court lights on or off. * There is a list inside the clubhouse door for you to enter the date, time, your name and mobile number. Please fill this in just once when you arrive at the courts. * If you are at the courts for coaching you do not need to fill this in as Shane will have a record of coaching participants. * Players must limit their play to 1 Hour if other members are waiting for a court as we anticipate high demand for court usage over the next few weeks. * The idea is to come down, play and leave straight away * The front gate should be kept wide open, if you are the first to enter the courts please swing the gate wide open so other members do not have to continuously touch the gate. * As usual the last person to leave the courts should lock the gate. The club will provide wipes near the front gate and near the lights switch for members to use if they touch the padlock or the court lights switches * When playing tennis observe social distancing rules (at least 1.5 Metres apart) * Coaching has the first right to court use for the usual number of courts that Shane requires to conduct his business. * All 10 courts are available for use as long as social distancing rules are adhered to. * Please bring your own tennis balls and take them home with you. * Do not use the drink fountains on the courts, please bring your own water bottle from home for use and do not share water bottles. If you are using the lights please remember to transfer your $10 per hour fee to the clubs bank account BSB: 633000 ACC: 125180398

03.01.2022 Tennis less dangerous than walking the experts say but tennis is closed. Makes sense Tennis 36 metres apart or walking 1.5 metres. Tennis has to be the safest r...ecreation possible. Better than Golf even, no greens or teeing off together... based on this advise the logical conclusion is recreational walking should cease immediately or otherwise tennis should be allowed open immediately! Hell - horse racing is still going... 10 or more jockeys sitting in a row next to eachother- go figure! See more
