25.01.2022 Thanks to the Working for Victoria fund, weve been able to employ over 300 people to perform regular cleaning of high-touch areas across our stops, depots, and trams. Some of our stops are being cleaned three or more times per day, and our trams get wiped down regularly too in addition to the nightly deep cleans they continue to undergo. Whilst you must only travel for a permitted purpose and only if you are well, if you do need our trams, these amazing individuals are out... on the network each and every day helping to keep you safe. More about travelling on the network, here: https://www.ptv.vic.gov.au/more/coronavirus-covid-19/

Michaels wife was hospitalised and his mother-in-law unfortunately lost her life. See how you can help protect yourself and your loved ones here: vic.gov.au/CORONAVIRUS

18.01.2022 The coronavirus pandemic has impacted all of us, and it's been especially tough for the airline industry. Though an E-Class tram doesn't quite hit the speeds of a Boeing or Airbus, we share many similarities with the airline industry - from a strong commitment to safety, to a helping passengers get where they need to go. That's why we're thrilled to have 30 new recruits join us who were formerly in the skies prior to the pandemic, but are now helping essential travellers get around Melbourne on our network. Check out the full story from 9 News Melbourne below.

18.01.2022 We are thrilled to announce the 2021 Yarra Trams Community Partners: BirdLife Australia, Environment Victoria, Fairtrade Australia, Planet Ark, Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria and Wildlife Victoria. As the coronavirus pandemic began, Emily made the switch to our network bringing with her many of the important communication skills needed to support passengers. While she admits there is still plenty to learn about our network, she’s glad to be part of a team environment that also is very familiar coming from the... skies.
