23.01.2022 Yarra Valley Hay’s newest toy is completed Introducing a homemade New Holland 1575 self propelled small square baler. We have been very busy for the past 14 months here at Yarra Valley Hay, spending all our spare time rebuilding an old New Holland1282 self propelled baler, into a modern air conditioned cabin 1575 self propelled baler. ... The process started off with a 1972- 1282 New Holland self propelled baler powered by a factory fitted Ford industrial diesel motor. We then removed the old baler and replaced it with a newer 2010- 575 New Holland tow behind baler. The existing diesel motor and driveline needed an extensive service and clean up. A brand new insulated cabin was built with air conditioning, air seat, radios and moisture meters fitted. The cabin, chassis and baler have all been repainted, the rewiring process took a week and our sign writer spent 2 days fitting new stickers. Final touches and test runs were done and we can now show you the final outcome! Disclaimer: Please note this baler was privately built and labelled a New Holland 1575 and has no affiliation with New Holland Agriculture

08.01.2022 Today we had a emergency call out to go bailing for another contractor. Pumping out 240 rounds for them. We are going to have out of the paddock sales tomorrow from 4pm onwards. Square Bales are $11 each.

02.01.2022 The 2020 - 2021 hay season has arrived!!!! The team at Yarra Valley Hay has started cutting hay for this season. Fresh ‘A grade’ grass hay small square bales will be available behind the baler straight out of the paddock for $10.00ea Round bales $80.00ea ... Pick up will be available this Friday 27th and Saturday 28th of November. Please note- More hay will be made available behind the baler in the coming weeks.
