21.01.2022 The Victorian Government has extended the deadlines for registering pools until November 1, 2020.

20.01.2022 To avoid Council fines register your pool by June 1, 2020. Based on when your pool was constructed is when your first pool safety barrier compliance certificate is due. Following an inspection your pool needs to be re-inspected every four years but re-registration is not required. Ensure you only use a registered building practitioner to complete inspection.

12.01.2022 We have had a lot of inquiries regarding Swimming Pool/Spa inspections. The process is: First you must register your pool with your local Shire (By June 1, 2020) they will then advise you when your pool was constructed and when the first inspection is required. I.e if construction was in 2010 your first inspection will need to be done before 2023. Inspections will then be required every four years.
