24.01.2022 Did you see our article in the Yarrawonga Chronicle a couple of weeks ago? If you missed it, you can check out the article below. "Community Workshop continues to Spread Wings The Community Workshop Outreach Program has been a hive of energy as we continue to support and outreach to our school families and communities far and wide.... At the start of Term 3 students were busy using their creative talents make special Thank You cards for all the hardworking staff at Woolworths and IGA to thank them for all their hard work during these challenging times. Last week we delivered 215 Thank You cards and free masks those staff. Another ongoing successful project is our Beaming Beanies. Local volunteers and friends as far as 400kms away have knitted warm, woolly, Beaming Beanies for those experiencing hardships. Our first delivery included 70 beanies which were sent to Frankston Community Connect through Gary McConchie. We are getting close to being able to send off another Beaming Beanie parcel soon. There were smiles all round when we made a special delivery to the RSL House to give our beloved Barry Bowles and his friends a beanie and masks. The Workshop team have been frantically making masks using the pattern and materials recommended by the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services. All of our school community including staff and school families received free masks. We also made a number of special deliveries to local businesses who are able to remain open during Stage 3 Restrictions. The Workshop team would like to express their deepest appreciation to all our truly amazing volunteers who worked tirelessly to help make 2250 masks for our community. The Workshop still has masks available for purchase. If you would like to purchase a mask, please get in touch with the workshop by calling 0436 104 902. Masks are $5.00 each with the first one free!"

22.01.2022 Lights, Camera, Action!! Just when you thought the Workshop couldn't get anymore amazing. Yesterday the Workshop transformed into a filming studio, complete with a set and lights to film this amazing song by Sienna Cox.... Last term we asked Sienna if she had been writing any songs during lockdown. At that stage she hadn't been working on any. But earlier this term we were pleased to hear that Sienna had been working on a song about COVID-19. So please sit back, relax and enjoy the video and most of all...... STAY SAFE & STAY HOME. Roll the tape... 21.01.2022 Earlier today, we calculated the total number of food hampers that we have distributed as part of our Food for Families program. Over the course of Terms 2 and 3 (approximately 20 weeks) we distributed 260 food hampers to families in need. We are extremely thankful for the continued support of Alan Petrie from Moira FoodShare who has been providing the wide range of food that we use in our hampers. ... We would also like to extend a massive thank you to everyone who supported our Food for Families program. Finally we leave you with this quote by Sabrina Bryan you can do anything as long as you have the passion, the drive, the focus, and the support. We had all of these and are so proud of what we were able to accomplish.
