Relax under the trees listening to enchanting opera, dance the evening away with some fiery Latin rhythms or sit under the stars and enjoy a movie at the outdoor cinema. 15.01.2022 Have you heard about a queen catcher, smoker, or hive tools? As it turns out Michael Morgan, our Operations Manager at Pinnacle Living, has a very interesting hobby Beekeeping! Michael packed his tools of the trade and held a Bee presentation for our Yarrbat Place residents, including how honey is produced, how honey is different from different areas of Melbourne, the bee life cycle and best of all: samples! It was a fantastic presentation and residents loved it. Thank you Michael!

07.01.2022 We are very lucky with our villages and the community support it creates for our residents, particularly during these difficult times. Nevertheless, as the number of coronavirus cases rise across Australia, the level of anxiety can increase. As the Australian Psychological Society (APS) explains, feelings of worry and unease can be expected, however, it is important that we learn to manage our stress before it turns to more severe anxiety and panic. 06.01.2022 The community spirit at Yarrbat Place is fantastic and it highlights what retirement living is all about. During these difficult times our Village team is helping our residents wherever possible. The Team has organised yummy home-made meals from local cafes for residents, that they can order and have delivered to their door. For those residents who prefer to stay in the village, the Team is picking up their groceries or prescriptions from local businesses and also they drive residents to important appointments. The residents support each other in many ways and it's terrific to see the Yarrbat Place community spirit come alive even more during these challenging times, and support the local business community at the same time
