12.01.2022 Meet the #yarripeople - Chef Lindsey Lindsey has been with us since day one. While her role has changes a little over the years, through every stage she has helped bring our menus to life. Lindsey is an absolutely CRUCIAL member of team Yarri (not just because we throw her in front of the camera during every photoshoot)... 1. She is responsible for the epic donuts that come out of this place every morning 2. She helps keep the trains running on time in the kitchen 3. She smiles like this ALL THE TIME, which means everyone else in the restaurant has a better day. Her favourite memories from working with us include early morning prep with Tom and Lisa before the customers arrive, singing ridiculous songs as loud as possible. 04.01.2022 Meet the #yarripeople - Emily The loveliest Front of House Supervisor you ever will meet. Emily came to us from afar, she traded South Australia for the South West when she got the job at Yarri. After just a few minutes on Skype, we knew that she was the perfect fit and needed to load up the car and head across the Nullarbor. Sal reckons that she was so vivacious and glowing with positivity - even through a computer screen - that it was an absolute no-brainer.... Boy was Sal right about that one. Em delights in making customers happy and ensuring they have a flawless experience from start to finish. She's often hosting elaborate and exciting dinner parties in her downtime, so if you don't see her in the dining room that's likely what she's up to. That or 'testing' the new produce at our local cellar doors and breweries And on that note, her expert opinion is that Marq wines absolutely cannot be missed, and Glenarty Road is always worth the drive. Emily says that her favourite thing about being on Team Yarri is being surrounded by "an amazing group of creative, friendly and hilarious people with the same interests" The whole team think she's a joy to have around and we feel very lucky that she's made the South West (and us) her home.
