22.01.2022 We are now selling Wegglock's Organic Free Range eggs in our Farm shop. Proudly locally grown, they taste like eggs should! We are also using them in all of our home baked goodies here at Yarrowood.

18.01.2022 Did you know that we are a working farm here at Yarrowood? We breed Harlequin Mini Sheep....why??? They are a self-shedding, placid, friendly breed. A meat breed with no tail docking, no lice problems and they browse rather than graze, which means they eat much more than just grass. They make great pets. We have just had 26 lambs. Check out our lamb spam video.

15.01.2022 Lots happening at Yarrowood this week. Veggie seedlings, gorgeous Maple trees and much more. The cafe garden is in full bloom, the homemade cakes are scrumptious and the coffee is hot.

15.01.2022 The general rule is to plant out your tomato seedlings on Cup Day weekend. We have a huge selection of gorgeous, healthy tomato varieties to choose from....Beefsteak, Tiny Tim, F1 Truss, Marzano, Patio Supreme, Burnley Surecrop, Black Cherry, Rebel, Burkes Backyard, Grosse Lisse, Rouge de Marmande and Roma. You will also find a selection of berries, natives and potted colour to brighten your Spring garden. The Cafe is also open as usual, with our scrumptious cakes, scones and coffee. We are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9am-4pm.

15.01.2022 We are so excited to welcome all of our lovely customers back into the cafe this weekend. We are able to seat up to ten inside and the same outside, weather permitting of course. All of your favourite cakes plus some new ones. New to the nursery this week is the gorgeous Port Wine Magnolias $20 and the very fragrant white Gardenias $12.50. Open 9am -4pm Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. We look forward to seeing all of your smiley faces.

14.01.2022 We have plenty of gorgeous new tube stock in. Natives and others. Only $3.50 each.

14.01.2022 We are expecting a frost on Monday. If you have recently planted tomato seedlings or other plants sensitive to the frost, please cover them. A tent made with few sticks with an old sheet or material works well. Plastic works well too, however, please ensure the plastic is not in contact with the plant.

12.01.2022 IT'S BARE ROOTED SEASON!!!! We have hundreds of bare rooted fruit trees and ornamental trees in stock now. All fruit trees are $30 and ornamentals are $33. Potted citrus also available at $40. A large variety, too many to list. No holds...first in best dressed....the early bird gets the worm!! Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4pm. Our Cafe is also open to seat up to 10 customers.
