23.01.2022 Hi to our Participant Art Communities, This flyer is for Year 1. Expressions of Interest in the 1st Advanced Stencil Light Painting combined workshop to be held... in Port Adelaide area of Adelaide (venue to be announced). This workshop will bring together chosen artist from our communities we work with (see flyer). After this workshop there will be follow up workshops in each of our participant community centres. We are currently preparing for the workshop and will be in touch in the near future to discuss numbers, dates and location including Covid restrictions. Please pass this email onto your networks. 12.01.2022 Umee Stories: StoryBOX What: A 60 second mobile storytelling tent When: Friday October 30, 2020 Time: 10am onwards Where: Gladstone Square, Port Augusta... All welcome! In an all time first StoryBOX will make its premier in Gladstone Square. The storytelling tent invites community members to step inside to record themselves telling a story about Port Augusta in under 60 seconds. All community members are encouraged to take part and be involved in making history. These short stories will be screened the following evening at the Barracks. 05.01.2022 FREE HAVE A GO ART AND CRAFT ACTIVITIES @ THE PLATFORM GALLERY In 2021 artists and crafters will donate their time to provide an activity / mini workshop at The Platform Gallery. Commencing in March 2021 on the 3rd Saturday of each month between 10 and 12 people will be able to participate in a free random activity hosted by different artists.... We aim to provide the opportunity for practicing artists and newcomers to share our art space and get to know each other while practicing new skills and trying a variety of materials in a low-key friendly environment. We need to limit numbers so first 15 people to arrive on the day will be accepted. Young people will need to be accompanied by an adult. Each session offers a surprise!!
