25.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Dear Yass Valley Animal Community, As per the government advice and recommendations from Friday the 15th of May our COVID-19 policies will... relax slightly. The health and safety of our clients, staff and patients is our highest priority. We aim to make it simple for your pet to receive their usual high standard of veterinary care. We will continue to follow the recommended advice, act accordingly and alter procedures and provide the maximum standard of care for our patients. We would appreciate your help in keeping the transmission risk reduced by complying with the following procedures: We ask that you do not enter our premises if you are experiencing the following flu-like symptoms: High Temperature Sore Throat Cough Shortness of breath Only 3 clients permitted in the waiting room at any one time. Only one healthy adult should accompany the pet. Please make all appointments via phone or our online website. We also ask that anyone who has traveled overseas within the last months to make us aware of this prior to attending their appointment. Visit our hospitals only after having phoned ahead. Disinfect your hands when entering the hospitals. Avoid contact (no hand shaking) and keep at least 2-metre distance from other people at all times. Try not to touch anything in the waiting and consultation rooms. Contact-less payment is preferred. No Cash. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. Kind Regards, The Yass Valley Veterinary Team
