06.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that we, as a club, have to announce the CANCELLATION of the 2021 Yass picnic races. This is due to a high number of community concerns and a majority vote within our committee. It is in our best interests to ensure we are not being reckless by bringing a large numbers of racegoers from NSW, Vic and elsewhere into the community. We are a small volunteer run club, and with the expected number could not have been able to enforce restrictions safely on t...he day. As much as we were looking forward to bringing our community together, it is the health and safety of everyone that is paramount! Please note: this has not been a decision that the club has made lightly. However, the horse races themselves have been moved to Goulburn for the same day. Thank you to Goulburn race club and Racing NSW for taking this onso quickly with such late notice! We would like to apologise to those we haven’t directly been in contact with as of yet To marquees site holders, contributors and those alike, we will be in contact! Thank you all for the continued support and we so look forward to putting on an incredible meet for you in 2022
