02.01.2022 How can Physiotherapy help with the ban on elective surgery? As most of you are already aware, the government has recently suspended elective surgeries (public and private) to help free up hospital beds and health workers in response to COVID-19. Some of the surgeries suspended in this ban include total hip replacement, total knee replacement, and shoulder reconstructions. In many cases the pain and subsequent problems caused by these conditions- along with a variety of othe...r aches and pains, can be conservatively managed with physiotherapy. Where many people would often visit a GP or hospital, physiotherapy provides an evidence-based and drug-free alternative in the management of aches and pains. Our experienced physiotherapists are in clinic 6 days a week to assist you where needed. During this time, we are pleased to offer both online and face-to-face consultations to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. We are also currently offering Zoom online exercise sessions to keep your brain and your bodies moving! Please contact Brad Yates on [email protected] for more information or to book an appointment. www.yatesphysiotherapy.com.au [email protected] Ph: 0408 998 549

All of our staff have completed COVID-19 infection control training to ensure safety ...measures are adhered to so we can prevent any spread of the disease.
