Yates Security has the essential services to provide rapid alarm responses we operate our own Security Control Centre to monitor all alarms 24 hours a day, we have our own staff of guards and a fleet of cars to provide regular patrol services. Our guards and patrol services are linked to our Security Control Centre to provide a rapid and coordinated response in the case of emergencies. Our Security Control Centre is also linked to Police and other emergency services. This integrated service enables Yates Security to provide our clients with a superior rapid alarm response service. Our Security Control Centre supports clients over sophisticated network links and is manned 24 hours a day by experienced operators. Yates Security is still the only security company operating a security foot patrol within the Sydney CBD. With over 107 years of experience the company has few, if any, peers in this service area.

Yates Security had its genesis in the security industry over 110 years ago, when in 1900 Thomas Yates retired from the NSW Police Force and founded the business. The initial services were foot patrols providing protection for residents and businesses around Sydneys Rocks and CBD areas. 05.01.2022 Surveillance Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) technology has improved greatly in recent years, to become a very effective deterrent for criminals and enables security professionals and law-enforcement officers to track the movements of people and assets. Modern CCTV systems use multiple cameras in the one housing, and/or the networking of multiple cameras into one security system, so that all key areas can be under surveillance at the one time. The systems can automatically d...etect forbidden movement of humans, vehicles or any assets in controlled areas and perimeters, and offer an adjustable alert time for loitering. Digital Video recorders (DVRs) can be connected to keep a record of the events for whatever time period required.
