14.01.2022 So Taya Coe has been attending Yawarra 3 afternoons a week to kick off our youth and young kids with a disability and she has been enjoying it immensely. So her and her carer Adro Richards entered some cooked items into the show. Taya received first place for her donut cake, second for her Piklets this is a great achievement for her and we’re all so proud of her at Yawarra. Next year the fellas are entering a chocolate cake and Vena and Marie are also wanting to enter a cake.

Yawarra has had some exceptional workers over the many years and still do the workers are there to work and collect a pay cheque JUST LIKE ANY PERSON WHO WORKS but they also have a bond with the clients the compassion and empathy they have towards our clients is second to none. Yawarra’s door is always open to anyone to visit so come have a yarn or just a cuppa and this is to anyone.
