12.01.2022 Hello to our wonderful groups, volunteers and facilitators; We can recommence using the Pioneer Reserve and the Yea Community House facilities. Please find attached some information regarding Covid-Safe use of spaces. Please make sure you come and see us in the office to discuss when you do decide to resume (date/time) and be sure to fill out the attached paperwork. Attendance Registers (Contact Tracing) needs to be completed for each session that you meet and returned to ...us each time. Community Houses have been working through the Covid-19 crisis is all sorts of ways. Most of the regular groups have been in hibernation up until now. Even though we are looking forward to our groups resuming in the flesh again soon and catching up with each other, it is critically important to remember that the pandemic is far from over. Until a vaccine against Covid-19 is developed and widely available, returning to ‘normal’ might be difficult. All participants need to be aware of the social distancing protocol and procedures. Thank you for your cooperation, patience and understanding. Kind regards, Natalie & Carlie

06.01.2022 Regional Victoria is in the Third Step. From 11:59pm 18 October 2020 some restrictions are easing. The changes to restrictions include: You can have up to two people visit you at home each day. Infants under 12 months are not included in this cap, and other dependents can also attend if they cannot be left unattended or cared for in another setting. The two people may be from different households. This replaces the household bubbles. Libraries and toy libraries can ope...n for up to 20 people indoors. No more than 10 people can gather in a space (for example for a class). The one person per four square metre rule. Signage, cleaning and record-keeping requirements apply. Outdoor religious gatherings are allowed for up to 20 people plus one faith leader. This replaces the limit of ten people. This includes ceremonies, with no sharing of food, drink, crockery, utensils, vessels or other equipment by participants. The limits of people in restaurants and cafes increases. You can have up to 70 people outdoors and up to 10 people per indoor space with a maximum of 40 people per venue indoors. Restrictions apply including the two and four square metre rules. Businesses must continue to ensure people from metropolitan Melbourne do not eat-in. Stay safe as restrictions ease by washing your hands regularly, wearing a face mask when you leave home, coughing and sneezing into your elbow, and keeping at least 1.5 metres from others. Keep your friends and family safe by meeting outdoors. There is a lower risk of spreading coronavirus (COVID-19) between people if you are outdoors. Groups of up to 10 people will be able to meet outdoors. You must not travel to metropolitan Melbourne except for permitted work purposes, care and compassionate reasons or shopping for food and supplies, if necessary. Face masks must be worn by all Victorians when they leave home, unless they have a lawful exception. . As soon as we find out further changes to the restrictions you’ll be informed. Regardless of these restrictions, you must wait for further contact from us before meeting indoors. Further to this, our Committee decided to we will not resume indoor activities until Term 1 2021.
