25.01.2022 The Rat Barrows will return to the Garden Expo this year and they are Ride on articulated, tipping barrows. These are a fantastic addition to your garden facilities as it removes all that back breaking heavy wheeling of your barrow. You get more done with less effort. http://www.ratbarrow.com.au

24.01.2022 To all those gardeners out there, the good news is that the Yea Garden Expo is set to return in 2021. Save the date - Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th September, again at the Yea Saleyards. Opening times will again be from 9am until 3pm and tickets are $10, with free parking. This year tickets will be available online through Try Booking and ticket sales will open on June 1st. Details of vendors will be released leading up the event, but rest assured, your favourites will be present.

24.01.2022 One week to go and it will be on! The Yea Garden Expo is a great place to shop for all your garden needs (and we mean ALL!) and even do a little early Christmas shopping. Why not come and spend a few hours at the Expo, have some delicious food and then explore some of the beautiful sights of the Yea countryside. Remember gates open an hour early this year - 9am - 3pm and free parking! $7 entry.

23.01.2022 Darren Gilbert Sculptures --- Darren is a brilliant creator of garden Art and his works feature in many gardens and displays. Many of his sculptures are breathtaking and really can bring fabulous joy to your garden. Have a chat to Darren if what you are looking for is not on display and he will undoubtably have other art pieces which may match your desires.

23.01.2022 Day One of the Garden Expo and despite a patch of heavy rainfall mid morning, there were lots of happy shoppers. Many vendors enjoyed good sales and there is still tomorrow (Sunday) 9am to 3pm, again at the Yea Saleyards. New this year was a wine tasting session at 3,30 with yummy food to thank our many vendors for their on going support, Special thanks to sponsors Sedona Estate for providing their wine (a great local product) and Yea Brand cheese, for their delicious range of locally made cheeses. A great way to finish a successful first day!

19.01.2022 GM Rare Bulbs--- George and Matt have a passion for growing unusual bulbs, mainly focused on South African and South American geophytes. Both George and Matt are very enthusiastic about the plants and people's experiences in growing them. They are avid collectors of these rare bulbs and it is a terrific opportunity to chat to two experts and select some rare bulbs for your own garden. Come along to the Garden Expo on the 21st and 22nd Sept to find out more. 9am - 3pm each day.

18.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who supported the Yea Garden Expo this year, both vendors and customers alike. The weather was kind today and everyone seemed pretty happy to be browsing in some spring sunshine. If you enjoyed the experience, tell your friends as we will most likely be back next year bigger and better than ever!

18.01.2022 As the Garden Expo approaches, news of the great food options available on site. Of course there is the Rotary BBQ, featuring hamburgers and veggie burgers and gourmet sausages as well as egg and bacon rolls. Two coffee vans ( Red Hot Coffee and 3 Beans Coffee) so you can get your caffeine fix. All Ablaze serving delicious pizzas; Mr Preet for great Indian food; Mr Quick Whip for drinks and ice creams and finally the Yea Wetlands serving homemade fare of soup, sandwiches and delicious Devonshire teas. All great reasons for visiting the Garden Expo this year!

16.01.2022 Spring has sprung and the Yea Garden Expo is rapidly approaching. Sat 21st September and Sun 22nd September at the new times of 9am to 3pm. Cost this year just $7 with parking free. 60 vendors confirmed, great food and coffee options available and a guest speaker program both days. Sat 21st 11am, Robyn Harris - expert in African Violets Sat 21st 1pm, Helen Richards OAM - leader in Australia in growing Native Terrestrial Orchids. Sun 22nd 11am, Chris Cobern - encouraging loca...l fauna and flora in our gardens and on our properties. Sun 22nd 1pm, Andy Russell - Introduction to bee keeping. 15.01.2022 And still the vendors keep coming so there will certainly be something for everyone this Saturday and Sunday at the Yea Garden Expo. Budweld Nursery from Nyah West near Swan Hill was established in 2002. They grow 90% of their plants in the paddock to ensure they are weather hardened for our climate. The remaining 10% are grown from tube stock under part shade cloth. They will be featuring a wide range of Roses including Bush roses, Patio roses and Standard roses and as you ...can see from the photo they have a wide selection of colours and different roses. The Budweld nursery also have a great variety of plants including Mop tops, Lilly pilly, Ficus, Crepe myrtle, Olives, Citrus, Jacaranda and several others. 15.01.2022 And another vendor who will be attending the Yea Garden Expo this weekend. This is a very exciting step forward in the environmental use of recycled materials. The product is as strong as an ox and should not be confused with inferior soft plastic. 14.01.2022 There is absolutely something for everyone at this year's Garden Expo, including entertainment, great food options and a dog friendly site (they are most welcome but must be on short leads please). Oh, and loads of things to do with anything garden! Gutterguard are a new vendor this year and will have on display their latest products to protect those pesky leaves etc from clogging up your gutters. They are also able to do the installation if required. The product comes in different colours hence can in most instances match up with the roof colour. 12.01.2022 The forecast is pretty good so there are no excuses for missing out on the Yea Garden Expo this weekend. And still we are signing up more vendors so there will be fantastic choices for everyone who attends. We are delighted to have the Garden Stone Craft expert stonemasons from Corinella join us this year. They really have a wide range of stonework which they have done including bridges, houses, paths, patios ,fences so there is no limit on their stonework skills. 04.01.2022 Forecast is pretty good for the weekend, so a perfect opportunity to visit Yea and especially the Yea Garden Expo to have a big shop for all your spring garden needs, Everything available on the one site, and when you need a rest, grab a coffee or some food from one of the many food places and listen to one of the guest speakers at 11am and 1pm each day. All for just $7 entry and free parking. Dogs most welcome but must be on short leads please.

03.01.2022 Just over a week to go to the Yea Garden Expo. With over 60 vendors, and great food options, there will be something for everyone. Bob and Barb Glenister are local creators of a wide range of garden ornaments that can add that touch of flair and interest around a garden. These creative ornaments give those little surprises as you browse your garden. Bob is also a top notch landscape gardener who can give you some handy tips.
