25.01.2022 It is with regret that the 2021 Rotary Club of Yea Art Show will not be held this year. A decision was made in October, due to the Covid restrictions at that time. We are sorry that the club is unable to hold what would have been its 50th Art Show, but the club hopes to be back bigger and better in January 2022. Meanwhile, the club is going ahead with its annual Art Show raffle of a beautiful Julian Bruere painting titled 'After the Rains' valued at $1250. Tickets are available from any Yea Rotarian or from Sat 2nd January at two sites in the main street and at the Yea Market. Be sure to buy a ticket or two as as they say - 'you have to be in it to win it'!

25.01.2022 Today is the closing day for entries to the Yea Rotary Art Show and the entries have been coming very quickly in the past few days - but there is still time to enter as this can be done online!! 21.01.2022 Opening night tonight - 7.30PM, Shire Hall. For just $20 you get some food and drink and first chance to buy some stunning paintings. Join the fun of Opening Night and wear something Red and White in keeping with the Swiss theme!

21.01.2022 The 32nd Yea Rotary Art Show concluded today at 3.00 pm. Buyers of artwork collected their purchases, artists collected their unsold work and Rotarians dismantled the screens, lights, computers and paperwork and stored them away until next year. The Town Hall was cleaned ready for the key handover inspection tomorrow. An amazing amount of hard work has been provided by Rotary members and their families for the past 9 days in order to achieve a successful Art Show - thank yo...u to all involved. Also an additional job that was undertaken by Rotary as they once again hosted the Australia Day Breakfast on Thursday morning, with preparations commencing at 6.30 am. The winner of the peoples choice of painting was 42 Central Tasmanian Farm, by Julian Bruere. Julian then kindly donated his $250 prize back to Rotary as a thank you for the care and organisation of the artists by Rotary. Thank you Julian for your thoughtful generosity, it is appreciated.

17.01.2022 Amidst all of the hustle and bustle of Christmas preparations, the Art Show work continues. Donations towards our opening night silent auction are always welco...me, artists are registering their entries and raffle ticket sellers have been busy. Sadly, one of our sponsors has unfortunately had to pull out at the last minute - so if anyone or any organisation would like to be an official bronze ($250) or silver ($500) sponsor please contact [email protected] for details of how you can support a winning artist and the wonderful Rotary cause. Wishing everyone a safe and Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.

17.01.2022 The Rotary Club of Yea Art and Craft Show has reverted back to being just an Art Show. Why? Because a whole new Craft Show is going to be launched in April around Anzac Day for all things craft related - pottery, quilts, sculptures, woodwork, knitting and more. Watch this space. In the mean time, The Rotary Club of Yea Art Show is locked in so save the date. See flyer attached!

16.01.2022 Delighted to let you know that our major sponsor has once again been given an update on progress of the Art Show committee. The generosity of Frank and Ruth Hargrave on behalf of the Hargrave Family Trust is a wonderful benefit to our Art Show and in 2017 their contribution will once again encourage artists to enter the show. Also, letters seeking sponsorship from various community and business donors have been sent out - these sponsorship are tremendously important as each sponsor provides a financial prize which goes to a winning artist in each category.

14.01.2022 Just over a week until Opening Night. Love to see you there and why not dress to the Theme 'Buttons and Bows'.
