She currenly works as a Civil/Structural Engineer at SA Power Networks .Gabbi has worked on a range of projects within the electricity industry, in a number of roles. She has been involved in the civil and structural design of substations, and acted in on site supervisory roles. Gabbi is also the Vice Chair of Young Engineers Australia SA, where she has had the opportunity to organise events and meet other young professionals.

This exciting new initiative is not just about creating a community for LGBTQIA+ engineers, but also aims to support Engineering Workplaces to be inclusive, providing support to graduate engineers entering the workforce.

Register for our virtual event Perception Vs Reality on 17 November: Before our event, we’d like to introduce our fantastic speakers, starting with Matthew Kennedy. Matthew is the Engineering Lead - Triton at Northrop Grumman, and an EA EngExec. He’s a mechanical engineering graduate of the University of Adelaide with over 20 years of experience in systems safety, systems assurance and weapons engineering. Matt spent 20 years working in the Royal Australian Air Force where he left as Chief Engineer.
