23.01.2022 Throwback to Fringe amazing Illuminations, including Yabarra
23.01.2022 Huge CONGRATULATIONS Karl Telfer. We watched as you poured your heart and soul into this, and to see it come to reality is just incredible. To be the person to design this important, 2020 Indigenous Round Guernsey in PAFCs 150th Anniversary year is so humbling, and a real honour. Thank you Karl, this is another of your legacies that your children, family, community and Yellaka will always remember. Be sure to get yours before they sell out.

19.01.2022 "Our children and young people are our absolute most sacred of life responsibilities. They will be the bearers of our culture, our stories, our histories, and carry these forward for our future generations. They are our Elders of tomorrow, so let's hear their voices." Celebrating National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day.
18.01.2022 So brilliant to see Karl's Indigenous Round Guernsey design on the players at training.
18.01.2022 As Christmas is fast approaching and as COVID-19 continues to impact everyone's daily lives, we need your support even more now to continue to help Aboriginal Elders and families most in need during the festive season. Monday this week, we've seen people losing their jobs, having their hours cut back, artists have had their bookings cancelled and Elders and Families are feeling the financial stress. Important celebrations and ceremonies have been reduced to small numbers. Any donation you're able to make will help provide a Roast for Christmas Dinner. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, your kindness and generosity has helped us reach 1/3rd of our fundraising goal.
17.01.2022 Last year Yellaka was privileged to share in the 30th Anniversary of Wan Smolbag Theatre in Vanuatu. Sadly, this Cyclone Harold has hit its Northern base in Santo really bad. If you can help with supporting their recovery, please donate here. Thank you on behalf of Yellaka.
16.01.2022 And just like that all of Yellaka's bookings got cancelled cause of covid. But on the bright side...we're all safe and well and looking forward to 2021
16.01.2022 How exciting! Tune in on Sunday at 3pm. We <3 Radio Adelaide. Fingers crossed for Tindo Utpurndee broadcast!
16.01.2022 We're calling on our Yellaka friends and supporters to help us FREE our FLAG. Sharing a post written by a friend. Factual and beautifully written, with a call to action at the end, which we hope you sign :) The Aboriginal flag means so much to Aboriginal people, it’s our connection, our courage, our resilience and passion for our people, culture and history. The flag was created by Harold Thomas then he sold the copyrights in 2018, to a non-Indigenous company, who now own the... rights and won’t let you use the flag without paying royalties. The AFL made a stand this week and said they wouldn’t pay, for the flag to be used, during the Sir Doug Nicholls round. So we won’t see our beautiful flag, on guernseys, at the centre of the ground or as goal flags flown with pride. This makes me mad, sad and grateful all at once, that they AFL stands with the Aboriginal community. Please go to Clothing The Gap Facebook page or website and sign the petition to help the FREE THE FLAG campaign. https://clothingthegap.com.au/pages/free-the-flag This should be a flag for all people, to use freely and with pride. Thank you
15.01.2022 These kids true.

11.01.2022 Congratulations Kozzy!! This talented and highly skilled footballer danced with Yellaka a couple of years ago. He's now living his ultimate dream - AFL - Melbourne FC - and each and every one of us is so proud of him. He's worked hard and never lost sight of his dream. Watch out for him on the weekend.
11.01.2022 Young Kruz [pictured here with Karno and Karl] joined Yellaka then Covid hit :( BUT we're back now Yay!! And today, Kruz shared culture at an event at his school. He was so proud. His Mum and Nana were so proud. And OMG we're so proud of him too. Welcome to Yellaka Kruz!!

06.01.2022 To our beautiful friends Roz Harvey and Michelle Ryan from Restless Dance Theatre, you are amazing, inspiring women who came into our lives and stayed. Here's a beautiful pic of both of you at our show SPIRIT 2020 x Take care during these uncertain times. We love you both, and we love all that you do at Restless <3
05.01.2022 Yellaka has joined the push-up challenge to raise awareness of Depression, Anxiety, PTSD and suicide. 25 push-ups for 25-days. Here's Karl Telfer on Day-14, Jordan Dorizzi-Tucker is on Day-16, Karno Martin is on Day-8 and Ayden Martin is on Day-9
02.01.2022 There are many moments in Yellaka that ground us and fill our hearts with joy. Being among the younger generations, our future leaders, watching them having fun, enjoying themselves, sharing and celebrating culture just reminds us of why we do what we do. Thank you to Power Aboriginal Programs, Pauly Vandenbergh and the Willpower Program for inviting us into the space to share with these young ones. We are truly blessed.
01.01.2022 Remembering all servicewomen and men. Lest we forget <3
