04.01.2022 Thank you for your understanding during our closure over the past few days. Our decision to do so was due to the risk associated with the large number of people that pass through our small venue, and the fact that we are often populated with tourists, and travelers from interstate and overseas. We greatly appreciate everyone who has reached out to ask how they can support us and also those asking to buy beans. After reviewing the current state and national restrictions, wit...h the measures below, we feel we can restore a limited trade and look after those essential people who need to be in the city, and have made a tentative decision to open from tomorrow, Monday 23rd March. What this will look like: - We will operate as a hole-in-the-wall, with the point of sale now at the doorway, with no customers entering the shop. - Take-away beverages and retail coffee will be available for you to stock up. - Payments by EFTPOS or Skip App only. (We have added retail coffee beans to our Skip menu). We have made this considered decision based on the new travel restrictions and safe distancing measures, and are taking a day by day approach - we know this will probably change. 04.01.2022 Here we go... Starting this week, Yellow Bernard will be putting in place measures that can help reduce the risk of transmission of Covid-19. We are doing this in-line with professional health advice and based on steps taken by other businesses in affected areas. The aim is to help protect our customers, our staff and the community.... - we will not be accepting re-usable cups and lids (note this is only a temporary step). - we ask that if possible, you use contactless payment rather than cash or make use of our @skipapp ordering app. - please avoid coming in to the caf if you are sick or showing symptoms.
