24.01.2022 To this day I still get butterflies in my stomach when presenting a gift that I created. Today I visited the Staples family. A very nice family that has been so generous to Yellow Dog the past few months as they are going through the grueling process of settling the estate of their father Kelvin. After a few visits to the property you naturally get to know the deceased simply by talking to the family and obviously looking at their possessions. And it was no surprise that Kel...vin was a legendary Orchid grower. He was president and life member of the SA Orchid Club, hed won countless awards for his work, multiple green houses on the property, etc etc Anyhow, I found this old garden trolley buried under the rubble of a collapsed greenhouse roof. Frozen in time and exposed to the elements, it was losing that battle to Mother Nature. That poor trolley was barely clinging to its last grain. I crawled over piles of dangerous debris and venomous spiders just to salvage this old trolley. Vickie looked at me like i was insane, but I already knew that trolley was going to be restored. Restored as a surprise gift of my appreciation back to the Staple family. Today I was able to present them with the restored garden trolley that dad used for many years. And like i said, Im 46 years old and still get butterflies but so worth the anxiety!!

13.01.2022 I was given access to a location in Magill, SA prior to the demolition of the 100 year old property. The previous owner was an an elderly woman and some sort of eccentric artist. Amazing finds all day, but this one really fascinated me. It appears like original art and mid book is still full of blank pages with foot notes and memoirs included. The book is Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam which isnt unusual, but the rest is very interesting. Anybody have a clue what i got here?

08.01.2022 Salvaged from a century old Barrosa Valley farmhouse. However, the door isnt as old as the farm itself. The previous owner said it was likely installed back in the 1950/60s era prior to their purchasing of the property.
