25.01.2022 I have been so busy with work last few weeks unfortunately I haven't had much time for crocheting which of course is a travesty. I have been working on another elephant and I have to say I'm loving the darker ears. Pre stuffing they look completely different. Hopefully I can get him stuffed and sewed together before the weekend but for now he is put to the side because I'm off to work for the night. 21.01.2022 My girlfriend posted her sisters pg as good sisters do, supporting family. I liked pg as well because I love to support local people and I know how exciting it is when you see you likes rising when you are first starting out. I will be honest I wasnt out looking for these or needing them but I sticky beaked her pg and OMG such amazing talent and so I decided I needed thank you cards. Not a want a need so I sent her a message and not half an hour later after deciding on wha...t colour and text I wanted she sent me a pic of some already done. 20.01.2022 Happy #grannysquareday2020 I do love a good granny square. Such a versatile pattern, good for blankets, bags, shrugs and so much more. This stitch works up very quickly and looks so good. I reckon my sister got lucky in me nar just joking she is pretty ok lol she definitely got the beauty gene and I got the crafty gene. She can cook and I can bake, she is tall and I am short. We both have girls only and we even live across the road from each other. I love seeing my nieces daily and it's amazing to see all the cousins get along together so well. 16.01.2022 What cuties. These little guys are off to their new home now. I love how every amigrumi always turns out slightly different to all the others even when they are exactly the same. As weird as it sounds it's like they have their own personality, as you are creating them you notice the subtle differences between them, like an eye may be 1 stitch over from the other or one has a little bit more hair. They are all equally loved by me. 13.01.2022 How adorable is this lonely unicorn he won't be a lonely for long. I have absolutely loved every minute of this gorgeous blanket so far. I know I will hate sewing the tail ends in but you get that. The pattern actually says to make in a continuous rounds without cutting or having to join but I choose to do the pieces individually as it means I could do it while I was sitting at the doctors waiting and my daughter's dance without having to drag a whole blanket everywhere wit...h me. 08.01.2022 When you find an old picture of a rug you made and just think OMG I LOVE YOU. This was one of those rugs. It has been months since I made a rug. I adore these colours so much and this rug was snatched up very quickly and I can see why. There is just something about crocheting that brings me piece and calm. 08.01.2022 It is done and I love it. Unicorns all round I say, and imagine how magnificent they would be for real although people have said they are real, they are just in the shape of a rhinoceros I love rainbows and colour, the more colour the better. Making this blanket has been alot of fun, I've loved the challenge and the different colours. The sewing bits togethers wasn't a huge joy but it's all part of the process.
