21.01.2022 I threw these bottles quite some time ago as a bit of fun. At the time I was working on pulling the clay up, and refining creating pieces with narrow necks. It’s a tricky business, because take it too far and it can close up, too much or too little water could make it warp... but my throwing has come a long way since then. Perks of making almost every day. You have lots of chances to practice and perfect skills

17.01.2022 I think I might be alone in my obsession with black and white photos but here is a line up of Cosmos mugs for your Saturday they’re currently being restocked in time for the silly season. But... local northern rivers friends, I have quite a few Cosmos seconds!! 12.01.2022 Recently I had the pleasure of making a custom serving bowl for a beautiful customer, and this is the message I was sent when it arrived... Hi Yen, The bowl arrived this morning, it’s PERFECT! Thankyou so much, not only an incredible product but excellent customer service. Custom orders on the net can be a little scary but you made the whole process seamless, You nailed the brief, tested glazes to find the right one and made sure I was happy before posting.... I honestly couldn’t be happier Thanks again x my heart!! @wildwarmthfoto See more

09.01.2022 I really did have such fun shooting with @wildwarmthfoto back in July. It still feels as though she helped me open the floodgates to the most authentic version of my business yet, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The past few months have felt more flow than forced, which has been amazing. Especially now we’re coming into the biggest season of the year. I have the joy of feeling as though I’m creating magic, even on the weeks where things are so full I’m in the studio 7 days s...traight and having dreams about my mugs talking back (and nope, it wasn’t nearly as cute as Chip from Beauty and The Beast). Even on days where it’s been twelve hours and I’m still going, I really wouldn’t be doing anything else. I love it. I love making beautiful objects that get to used and loved as part of people’s daily rituals. Not much else connects people the same way that telling stories over cup of chai or a dinner table does. And I love that handmade pottery can tell a story all of its own. Forever grateful to you guys for helping me make this happen See more

09.01.2022 If you’re already subscribed to my email list you will have read all about it this morning, but for those of you who aren’t... the online #secondsandsamplessale is happening! To those that came and visited the studio in person the other week thank you! But for those who couldn’t make it, I’m making it up to you 48hrs only - 27-29th November... 10-60% off the odd bunch of samples and seconds that didn’t quite make the cut, a great chance to get something unique for Christmas. To keep up to date with all that’s happening and to be the first to know of sales, special discount codes and more, make sure to subscribe to the email list

07.01.2022 The Farmhouse Plates are nearly here (finally)! But while I am so excited for you guys to see them, I can't help but still LOVE these classic white plates. With a higher lip they are great for anything that requires a sauce or a broth to go with it. Perfect if you don't quite know if you need a plate or a bowl

04.01.2022 Amongst all the chaos I celebrated 24 laps around the sun on Monday.... yep!! This Scorpio is a year older (not necessarily wiser though ). Despite the studio being the busiest it’s ever been I managed to have a couple of days for myself and had a little weekender to Newcastle. Which was lovely! Especially as I got to pop into @scoutbyabicus to deliver some special goodies. Though I probably spent most of my birthday wondering where the past few years have gone and running through all the things I had to get done when I got back to the studio 2020 and 23 held lots of contrast for me, and so I am kind of hoping that 24 will be a little calmer but lots to celebrate nonetheless @wildwarmthfoto

03.01.2022 I am so excited about the seconds and samples sale happening tomorrow!! It's been nearly a full year since I have done a big in person market style sale (Covid stopped me from going ahead with any markets in 2020). With huge discounts between 10-60% off, there is something to suit everyones budget. From trinket sets starting at $10 to one off vases and planters at $50. So if you're in the Northern Rivers pop in and say hello! Yen @wildwarmthfoto

02.01.2022 If a mint slice were a bowl I feel that this is what it would look like... these little trinket dishes are some of my favourites out of a recent reduction firing. A beautiful green/blue glaze on a chocolate clay I will be uploading them onto the website along a few other goodies in the next week or so
