25.01.2022 Pre-Season Training is back!! * Wednesday November 25th * Burnie High School * 6:00pm start... * Get there around 5:30 with Yeomen training attire or suitable training wear. * Footy boots and runners. * Towel and drink bottle. All new, past and present players are encouraged to come along, regardless of skill or fitness ability. EVERYONE IS WELCOME. EVERYONE IS EQUAL. 25.01.2022 Annual General Meeting, The Annual General Meeting for the Yeoman Football Club will be held on Tuesday the 24th of November 2020 commencing at 6:30pm at the Darwin Football Assosiation Headquarters. The agenda will include but not limited to,... Recap and close off the last 12 months of the club. Election of President, Vice President, Junior Vice President, Secretary, Treasure and General Committee. General business moving forward. The Annual General Meeting will be followed by the first General Committee Meeting. Come shape the future of the Yeoman Football Club by getting involved in season 2021. Everyone is welcome, we look forward to seeing you there.

20.01.2022 REMINDER, Due to popular demand, we can now confirm that all the speeches tomorrow will now be live on our Facebook page. ... The Yeoman Football Club and I would consider it an honour if you would join us for a day to celebrate the lives of Geoff Gaby, Geoff Lockett, Graeme Warren, Garry Pearce, Ron Chequer & Greg Byrne. The event will take place on Saturday the 26th of September 2020 at the Yeoman Football Club rooms located at Pearl Street Wivenhoe. The event will begin at 2:00pm and there will be finger food available and our bar will be open. As this is a day to clearable multiple losses we will have guest speakers on the day at the below times to share some of their memories of the above mention people. 2:00pm John Castles will share some of his memories of Geoff Gaby. 2:45pm Garry Love will share some of his memories of Geoff Lockett. 3:30pm Peter Wynwood will share some of his memories of Graeme Warren. 4:15pm Danny Crothers will share some of his memories of Ron Chequer. 5:00pm George Blachford will share some of his memories of Garry Pearce. To ensure that we abide by the Department of Health Australia, there will be COVID-19 protocols in place including capacity limitation, social distancing and attendance sheets on the day. The Yeoman Football Club has its own COVID-19 plan that has been reviewed and signed off by the local government. 15.01.2022 The Yeoman Football Club (affiliated with Darwin Football Association) is seeking applications for the following coaching role for Season 2021. Reserves Coach The Yeoman Football Club has taken significant steps on & off the field last year, cultivating in a professional and family orientated environment for people to become a part of. The club has a devoted committee and provides a welcome atmosphere for coaches, players, trainers, support staff and supporters alike.... All applicants for coaching roles should be suitably qualified with an ambition to work with, and nurture the players on and off the field, helping to maintain the culture and atmosphere at the club which includes a code of conduct and discipline policy as expected by the club executive. This is expected to be adhered to, including taking a practical role in ensuring the on-field performance of the club and to help build the Yeoman Football Club into an even more professional club moving forward in the DFA. 13.01.2022 The Yeoman Football Club is pleased to announce they have finalised the coaching panel for season 2021, with the appointment of Reserves coach Daniel Baldock and Reserves assistant coach Luke Gerrard. Daniel was born and bred for football and has had a very successful career to date playing in 9 grand finals and a best and fairest in his early years playing in Ipswich. Daniel has come to the club off the back of a successful stint at the South Burnie Football Club, after a fe...w years tainted by injury he is looking forward to using his knowledge outside of being just a player and he is keen to teach the game to the younger players not only with his experience on game day but by the high standard he holds himself in while on the training track. Daniel is a welcomed addition to the robins nest. Returning back for another year in the Red and black after coming across with senior coach Peter Fulton in season 2019, Luke is looking to add another feather to his cap by not only being Dan's right hand man but by showing some of the things he has learnt playing under great coaches aswell as having a few ideas of his own. Luke has a wide variety of experience playing in different leagues around the country playing 5 years in the WAAFL for Brentwood beraggon FC and single seasons in WRFL for Braybrook and nwfa for Spreyton Eagles. Luke wishes to use this opportunity to help all players on the team to enjoy the game and reach there best potential. We would like to wish both men all the best and We look forward to seeing these 2 first time coaches take the opportunity with both hands and we know they will do there best A message from Peter Fulton and the leadership group will be up in the next 48 hours regarding preseason. 01.01.2022 SUPER SUNDAY SIGNING. In preparation for season 2021 The yeoman football club is thrilled to announce the club has secured the signatures of the always consistent and always reliable club captain Daniel Ellery aswell as club leader and 2019 club best and fairest Thomas Chilcott. With the 2020 season tainted by coved 19 both men decided early that they would not be pursuing football at other clubs instead used the time away to refuel and continue to prepare for season 2021 aft...er a big preseason already under there belts. With the pair combining for over 300 club games both men have assured the club that there best is still yet to come and the year off has left them hungry to lead the robins forward and back into finals football.
