24.01.2022 Some of you may have heard that Yeo's has recently been fined for contravening labelling requirements. Yeo's would like to clarify that this is in relation to the labelling of packaged food products which are manufactured or imported by our suppliers. The labelling of these goods are the responsibility of the supplier, not Yeo's, however the law imposes penalties on the seller. The main issue was that the format of the Nutrition Information Panel was not in the FORMAT requir...ed by the Food Standards Code rather than because information was incorrect or missing. We would like to assure you that the issue only affected a minority of the products we sell and has been rectified. No charges are in relation to any food that Yeo's produces which is also subject to regular scrutiny by the authorities. We have been operating for 30 years in the Belmont area and we look forward to continuing with the support of our customers.
