24.01.2022 With only 8 sleeps to go we need to start organising our volunteer roster... if you are able to help out for a first run back please message us with your parkrun number.

22.01.2022 Hi parkrunners, Due to work commitments we are now in need of a barcode scanner for this weekend. While we have your attention, the following 2 weeks are also looking rather empty. Please let us know if you can help out. Don’t forget Jenny will be your new Event Director, so it would be great if we could all help her out

20.01.2022 There are a couple of modifications that we need to implement once we get up and running (see what I did there ) on Saturday. One of these is car keys... there will no longer be a container on the scanning table for you to place your barcode and keys. We are now asking that you hold these yourself. An idea when I run is to take just the car key and place it & my barcode in a small zip lock bag. That bag is then put into my pocket or crop top. Another idea is I tie the key to my shoelace. Looking forward to seeing you all Saturday.



20.01.2022 Yeppoon parkrun Event number 149 2nd January 2021 This week 71 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 18 were first timers and 2 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 8 different clubs took part.... The event was made possible by 7 volunteers: Matt ARNOLD Sue MCDONNELL Susan BEATTY John STICKLEY Sharon COYNE Ian HERBERT Patty BURGESS Today's full results and a complete event history can be found on the Yeppoon parkrun Results Page. https://www.parkrun.com.au/yeppoon/results/latestresults/ The male record is held by Darryl HILL who recorded a time of 15:57 on 8th July 2017 (event number 4). The female record is held by April GEORGE who recorded a time of 19:37 on 14th October 2017 (event number 18). The Age Grade course record is held by Beverley LAUNDRY who recorded 84.18% (27:49) on 29th June 2019 (event number 107). Yeppoon parkrun started on 17th June 2017. Since then 1,758 participants have completed 7,529 parkruns covering a total distance of 37,645 km, including 1,266 new Personal Bests. A total of 173 individuals have volunteered 1,131 times.

15.01.2022 Hi parkrunners: incase you missed the post we put up in Oct, after quite of bit of consultations and emails, we were unsuccessful in our application to relocate. Nat, myself and all the volunteers are looking forward to seeing you at the Pineapple Rail Trail on Saturday. DON’T FORGET YOUR BARCODE.
