16.01.2022 AN OPPORTUNITY TO REPRESENT AGRICULTURE & OUR BEAUTIFUL REGION! The Yeppoon & District Show Society are seeking a JUNIOR SHOWGIRL, SHOWGIRL and a RURAL AMBASSADOR to promote the the Agricultural Show movement and youth of the Queensland Region in 2021. The Awards are an opportunity to improve skills in LEADERSHIP, COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT, KEY MANAGEMENT and CONFIDENCE. They are competitions whereby the winners are introduced as the Ambassadorial Representative of all Central Q...ueensland Agricultural Shows in 2021.The introduction of the new Junior Showgirl along with the Showgirl and Rural Ambassador awards provides the opportunity for younger entrants to also gain experience and knowledge about the Agricultural Industry and the Show Industry. The Rural Ambassador Competition is a National Competition aimed at young rural adults who have a passion for living and working in rural communities. The competition aims to discover the NEXT GENERATION of RURAL LEADERS who have the desire to represent and promote their community, their region and their State (Agricultural Shows Australia, ASA). The purpose of all the awards are to provide a platform for entrants to highlight the importance of young people in Rural and Regional Queensland, in particular those associated with the Agricultural Show movement. For the Junior Showgirl entrants it is an opportunity to meet other young and motivated regional entrants, to share ideas, experience competition and to gain knowledge about Agriculture and Show Society movement for future competitions. 14.01.2022 Winners have now been announced in the 2020 Virtual Yeppoon Show Day Show! Not only do we have some great entertainment with Zac Cross and Band but if you get to the end of the video you will also see the winner and runner up in the video competition section. They are great!! You can also check out all entries and the winners of each section in the Yeppoon Show Galleries on this page. Don't forget to comment and like the entries that you enjoy as the 'community favourite...' will be announced tomorrow. Once again, thank you to everyone that entered, the entries were fantastic and made for a fun online show for 2020!

10.01.2022 Yeppoon 2021 Show will be on the 5th & 6th June come and enjoy. New competitions and new entertainers admission still only $10. And $5 seniors and school children .
