Nicholls and McKee had 2 each after 10 minutes, with the Swans rounding the first quarter out leading 45-0. The Swans were tickin...Continue reading

10.01.2022 As we saw last night our documentary is coming along nicely, the easy part is done. Putting commentary and footage together and have it narrated professionally will take some time and involve some costs. So we are looking for any donations to get the film over the line, if you can spare a little bit please follow the link to the funding page and help us finish this worthwhile project. We'd love to be able to show everyone before Xmas!

08.01.2022 Everyone meet Corey Moss otherwise known as Mossy and our Junior Vice President for the 2021 season This year Mossy held the roles of Club Vice President and Junior Coordinator for the Under 7.5’s, 9.5’s and 11.5’s (to name a few) and also took out the reserve grade runner-up best and fairest. For those of you who know him, will know that he and his beautiful wife Flossy Moss are great value, they work tirelessly and are a huge asset to our club!! We love having them arou...nd both on and off the field We asked Mossy a few questions! What do I love about the Swans? The people, it’s a great family club and a great place to bring my kids. Will I be playing in 2021? Yes! Favourite AFL player? To be honest I don’t have one, I don’t even support any team, was willing to jump on the bandwagon if Brisbane got up this year. Three favourite things outside footy? Mowing the lawn, trimming the edges, then sitting back with a beer and admiring it. Shout out to Pure Gold Pineapples - here is a photo of Mossy and Birdy volunteering at the Pinefest Ball in 2017. We’ll come back to the Bird Man later!!

08.01.2022 RED AND WHITE REPORT The Swans played host to Brothers on Saturday and were looking forward to tough games in each grade against the improving club. Brothers are looking at every avenue to improve, including using GPS tracking to identify running patterns, and Coach Rose was kind enough to allow five Swans players to use the technology along with his own players to help better understand the tech. This is a great example of how the strength of the Swans is pulling the other c...Continue reading

07.01.2022 RED AND WHITE REPORT 40TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS WEEKEND Friday night saw the Swans 40th Birthday weekend celebrations kick off in style with a Legends match between past players representing North and South of Ross Creek. Both teams were chock a block with past talent and while the intention was for the game to be very relaxed, the old instincts kicked in and we saw a very entertaining hard hitting game in wet, rainy conditions. Great club names like Motton, Boyd, Bird, Lauri...Continue reading

05.01.2022 RED AND WHITE REPORT SWANS CRUSH SUNS IN BURGOS DEBUT The Swans were met at Gladstones Clinton Park by blustery conditions which werent conducive to great football. A strong wind blew from the eastern side of the ground and any footy that strayed across to the dead pocket in all games took a lot of work to get back into free-flowing play. But from the first quarter in the seniors, the Swans back line switched play to the open side consistently and were able to initiate the...Continue reading

05.01.2022 Well done to the Swans with their victory over Brothers. Final Score Swans 123 - 14 Brothers

04.01.2022 RED AND WHITE REPORT The Swans took the long trip down the highway to take on BITS on Saturday, in a game that had been built up since last years Grand Final win as the potential handbrake on the all-conquering Swans tilt at the AFL record. During the week there was suggestions that BITS were up to beating the Swans, and with a number of senior players out the nervous energy could be seen around the team. The Swans honoured the Indigenous Round with the two youngest players,...Continue reading
