25.01.2022 Open to members Melbourne Cup Day!!!

25.01.2022 Return to shooting - date still to be released. Due to the higher level of COVID lockdown in Victoria, Archery Victoria is as yet unable to advise of any date f...or competition to resume. This includes any previously scheduled State Championships or WA registered events until further notice. Once notification is received from Archery Australia and the Victorian State Government that sporting events can resume, Archery Victoria will work closely with all Clubs to schedule as many events as we can as quickly as possible, but until this time, we remain in event lockdown. Hopefully, this will occur sooner rather than later. Stay safe & healthy until then. Archery Victoria

21.01.2022 Evening all Bit sad and disappointing seeing the club all locked up again, targets have been chained up, codes to locks changed, we are closed until further notice. To the person who did not clean up after them selves in the toilet, thankyou! It’s a clear message that you can’t follow the rules and when we open after this lockdown the committee will consider not opening the toilets until full release of restrictions is implemented. Rant over! ... To all members please stay safe during these trying times we will get through this and be back on the range soon! Jarrad

16.01.2022 Hi All As most of you are aware we will enter into stage 4 as of 11:59 12.02.2021 (Tonight) and as directed by the Victorian Government all outdoor sporting activities are suspended. So as of 11:59 tonight Yering District archers is Closed to all! On a positive note its only 5 days , fingers crossed we will be back up and running on Tursday 18th Feb. 04.01.2022 Unfortunately we may be closing as of tomorrow night with the reinstated stage 3 restrictions . We will keep you updated when more information is available. Stay safe everyone Jarrad

03.01.2022 In response to new Stage 3 restrictions imposed by the state government, Archery Victoria has instructed all clubs in Melbourne to close from today. As such, Yering District Archers will be closed until we are instructed that we may reopen. The clubrooms will be locked and combinations changed, and target butts will be chained. If you live outside of the affected local government areas (available on the state government’s website), please be aware that this means that you are... unfortunately not allowed to attend the club. We understand that having so recently started to open up again, this could be very disappointing, however, we must all do our part to get through this second wave. To repeat, the club is closed until further notice, and you are not allowed to shoot. We will inform you as soon as this restriction is relaxed. Thank you for your cooperation.
