24.01.2022 Aargh easier to post up than answer individual inquiries... In the past I have searched for months for clients looking for a horse like this. I had a few peop...le interested but was too slow getting video done and they’ve bought elsewhere. Floss’s co-owner and I are not after a quick sale, it’s imperative she goes to the right home as she is just a true gem with a big honest heart and deserves only the best. She adapts to whatever rider I put on her and tries her little heart out to do the right thing. Price is negotiable to the right home. If you want a Grand Prix dressage prospect you need to go elsewhere and spend a lot more money (I am tired of opinionated bratty beginners too big for their boots!) IF you want a safe, fun, little groover who can do a bit of everything and doesn’t need a lot of work.. then Floss is your girl. Floss - 15.3hh 12 year old Stock Horse mare * Been there and done a bit of everything * Value is in her temperament where she operates on a few days a week of work, can be hacked out anywhere, is a great lead horse and very sensible. * Trained novice/elementary on the flat and this video is of Floss at 3 sometimes 4 days a week of work... on a really windy horrible day to show her exceptional temperament * Can jump, will pop around 75cm easily but needs more confidence/schooling for the higher stuff * Best suited to the time poor adult rider who wants something low maintenance with the buttons to learn and have fun. Someone wanting a sound, all rounder who will be competitive but can also just plod and chill out. * Also suitable for inter schools dressage for a level 4 or above child * Floss does get hay fever in spring weather which is easily managed by a legal homeopathic treatment from Hippo Health. Costs $45 and last for months. Hay fever is seasonal. $22k ono https://youtu.be/Amt5nCai2Hk

23.01.2022 Some friends have developed this new booking website for clinics and the like. Easy to use and great for coaches, venues and riders. Check it out. https://m.facebook.com/The-Equestrian-Diary-101872168245617/

21.01.2022 Hello everyone, In light of tonight’s announcements we have decided to shut the doors here for any bookings, clinics and arena hire the lot. Stay safe everyone and we hope to see you all back here riding soon... Tanya

19.01.2022 TRAINING PROGRAMS!!!! Are you struggling to plan a training routine? Do you find yourself riding aimless circles and wandering all over the arena with no... real purpose? When you ride a dressage test do you get lost, miss your markers, fluff your transitions or zigzag down the centreline? How is your "Eye to a distance"? Is that a mysterious term you hear thrown around, nod quietly and pretend you know what it means? Can you "Adjust the pace within the pace"? Do you find your brain is willing but your body simply refuses to comply? What about nerves and anxiety? How's that head noise affecting your progress? Are you lacking variety in your exercises? Struggling to keep the program interesting for you and your horse? Is your horse just coming back into work? Need a program you can scale up or down to your own horses needs? Need some help on building strength and fitness? "Horsemanship" is a word used a lot... I think most people have a vague understanding of the definition... but do you know how it feels...?? Have any idea how to create the non-verbal connection? IF any of these points resonate with you and you'd like some professional, experienced and qualified help you can refer back to over and over again... then drop me a line and see what I've got for you! I can tailor programs specifically to your needs or provide you with a suitable program from my library. It doesn't matter if you're just happy hacking out, are a pony clubber, adult rider or high level competitor, whether you want to focus on your own ability or your horse, ground work, ridden work and general handling... whatever you're stuck on, flick me a line and let me help you find a way to iron out the training wrinkles! Here are a few of the reviews I've had from clients who have purchased the training programs.. I’ve been having remote lessons from Amanda for about a year now since we moved down to the farm and it got a bit too hard to travel. I really love the lessons with Amanda because she gives me a road map, she gives me some structure to my riding and makes me more disciplined. Jillian Staton This program has taught me to improve the timing of my aids, my accuracy to a fence and what is required to keep him (Harry) fit for the future. Holly Ritchie Take advantage of the time we all have off from competition and get Amanda to write up a training program for you. It will give you a structured riding plan, make you work your butt off all the while improving every aspect of your riding and horses movement. Vikki Clarke This is fabulous, thank you! Joanne Dean "This is the best value for money Amanda, I can keep going back to it and using it again and again!" Flavia D'Alo "A PICTURE SAYS ONE THOUSAND WORDS!" Some results on horses and clients over time....if you want to achieve the same results and more... send me a message!
