25.01.2022 Day 1 of term 4 is done and dusted. We are excited that next week all of our students will be back for onsite learning! Check out what Grade 5 student, Cameron, and our wonderful Grade 4-6 teacher, Meridith, have to say about our great small school. Enrolments open and encouraged!

21.01.2022 Looking for a school? Look no further.

19.01.2022 Congratulations to our two Grade 6 students, Brody and Bailey, who have completed their primary school years. We celebrated their graduation on Friday night at the Healesville RSL. It was a great night filled with fun and frivolity. The boys both spoke very we as they reminisced about their time at Yering. We are proud of you both and wish you all the best for your high school years.

18.01.2022 We were saddened to hear of the loss of Paul Payne. Paul was huge in the community, being a life member of both the Coldstream Football Club, and Coldstream Cricket Club. Paul also took over as President of the Lilydale RSL when Don Mason passed away and would often help with our ANZAC Day services. He will be missed in a huge way. RIP

17.01.2022 Enrol your child now and start the transition. Small school, BIG learning!

16.01.2022 Did you know that the right hemisphere of the brain coordinates the left side of the body, and performs tasks that have to do with creativity and the arts? Here are some photos of our students using the right side of their brain!

11.01.2022 Yering Primary School is now taking enrolments for 2021. We have small class sizes, great kids and caring staff. Due to our small class sizes we are able to cater for the individual learner and student wellbeing is important to us. Please contact the Principal, Deanna Cole, on 97391451 for further information about the school and to obtain a Parent Information Book. She can also organise a tour of the school when we are permitted to do so.... Stay tuned for our Prep Transition program details and other snippets of school life at Yering PS. Take care everyone

11.01.2022 Last week, our students experimented with various aspects of science during Science Week. Did you know that there are 8 times as many atoms in a teaspoonful of water as there are teaspoonfuls of water in the Atlantic Ocean?

09.01.2022 STOLEN from the Strathewen area between 5:30pm Sunday 11th October and 7:45am Monday 12th October. The trailer contained mountain bikes. If you have any info, please notify the relevant authorities.

07.01.2022 Today is World Teachers’ Day in Australia. We would like to thank our wonderful teachers for the amazing work they do to educate our students.

07.01.2022 It’s Wacky Wednesday and it looks like lockdown is getting to some of our students! Nate has gone for a side face hat, Kai has put his undies on his head (hope they are clean), Tyson and Keira have swapped clothes, and Zara has channelled her dad’s favourite hip hop duo from the 90’s (Kris Kross).

06.01.2022 It’s the last day of term 3 today, parents, don’t forget that school finishes at 2:30pm.

05.01.2022 Last night we had a fun and festive family Christmas event at the school. Songs were sung and acknowledgments were made. Congratulations to Billie who was presented with the Rotary Club of Wandin Junior Citizenship award, and to Zoey, who was given the scholarship award. Santa was a very special guest on the night, with only 2 kids and 1 adult going home in tears after unsatisfactory gifts.

05.01.2022 R.I.P Lord Samuel Vestey. Condolences to the Vestey family.

03.01.2022 Today some of our students visited cenotaphs in Coldstream, Yarra Glen and Lilydale to remember members of our armed forces who have died in the line of duty. Lest we forget.

02.01.2022 Our 2020 school year has come to an end, and the two departing grade 6’s were sent off with our traditional water fight! Fun was had by all.

02.01.2022 Happy Principal’s Day to our wonderful Principal, Mrs Cole. Thank you for stepping up to the challenge of leading our school through the challenge of COVID-19. We appreciate everything you do for our little school!
