25.01.2022 You are invited to contribute to a special commemorative book: Our YSS 150th Committee is seeking stories and memories for your involvement in our school. Please see original post for more information and submit your contribution via email to [email protected]. Cant wait to see all the stories that are collated! :-)

25.01.2022 A lovely message from our intrepid Gingerbread fence people project leader, Sue Tape - thank you! :-) While there is still the 17th Sept session for senior leaders, ECDP classes and other teams like the Green Team etc, I would like to say thank you to all those who have volunteered. It has been great to see new and familiar faces join the classes to support the students. We have seen it all over the last few weeks - tears and tantrums for the truly invested artist, loads o...f teamwork and great communication. Please note Im talking about the students, not the volunteers! We appreciate that not everyone can carve out the time to be there and please know that we worked hard to make sure each student had a great experience and felt invested in the process. Please take the time to thank your class teachers and aides over the next week as they all put in a great effort to ensure the students were ready with snazzy designs and to work as a team.

24.01.2022 Can you feel the anticipation?!? Its not too late to be part of the excitement! :-) Tomorrow (Wednesday, 12 August) is the first day of fence people painting at YSS for our kids. Children in grade 4 will be the first to bring their designs to life with paint. Weve had a few late scratchings from the volunteer roster for tomorrow, so if you have some time between 11:45am-1:15pm or 1:45-3:00pm to help supervise our kids your help will be appreciated. Please signup here: www.signup.com/go/bubxRfV (youll be among the first to see the fantabulous new fence people). Thank you! :-)
