25.01.2022 This beautiful girl is Leila. She came in last week to have her remaining teeth extracted because they were causing her some grief. She is doing very well and having no teeth does not stop her from eating. She’s actually feeling much better now that those troublesome teeth have gone. Leila is such a gorgeous girl, so she gets lots of cuddles from everyone while she is with us

15.01.2022 This poor little Tawny Frogmouth fell out of a tree. As he is only a fledgling and learning how to fly, he wasn’t quite sure how to get back up. He was brought into the vet for a check over and he appeared to be fit and healthy and could fly quite well. He was released back to his tree at dusk to be reunited with his family

03.01.2022 Dear little Marcy was brought into us because she had been vomiting, lethargic and hardly moving which is very unusual for a 6 month old kitten. First off we took bloods which showed us that Marcy was severely dehydrated and her kidneys were also starting to fail. She was quickly administered fluids and X-rays were performed as we were suspicious of a foreign body as Marcy’s abdomen was very uncomfortable. While the X-rays didn’t show us the foreign body, they did show us dil...ation of the gut which also pointed towards an intestinal foreign body. We prepped Marcy for surgery and Dr Anita found the foreign body straight away. It was a piece of exercise matting. Lucky for Marcy, this was removed before it did any permanent damage to the intestinal wall. Marcy stayed in hospital for another 2 days, where she was monitored to make sure she was eating and toileting properly. Marcy didn’t skip a beat and healed beautifully. Here she is sitting on her owner’s shoulder when she came back to get her sutures out. See more
