24.01.2022 Yeshivah sports day looked a little different this year! With covid restrictions the Khoen Cup Sports Day wasn't possible, but with our generous long-time sponsor Mr Menachem Khoen's support a week of sports events was devised! Students competed in their year level groups and the camaraderie and ruach of sports day was evident throughout the week! Thanks to Mr Khoen for sponsoring a special sports day lunch for all Yeshivah students and refreshments throughout the week! Maz...al tov to team Yehuda, who were triumphant at the week's end. Well done to all who competed! #ybr #yeshivah #yeshivahcollege #thankyoumrkhoen #thekhoencup #houseteams #competition #sportsday #educatingforlife

20.01.2022 In the lead up to Parshas Noach today our GELC and Yeshivah children learnt about Noach, the flood and his teivah! Activities included dressing up as assorted animals and decorating beautiful rainbow crafts! The rainbow symbolises Hashem's covenant with Man that He would never flood the world again. #ybr #parshasnoach #handson #learning #yeshivah #bethrivkah #noach #teivah #rainbow #colours #educatingforlife

15.01.2022 In the lead up to Shabbos (and the Shabbat Project), our Gurewicz Early Learning Centre children explored the beauty of Shabbos through making their own challah, creating gorgeous challah boards and Shabbos crowns and participating in an engaging and interactive Grand Shabbos Party (thanks to our wonderful Morah Shoshana), with their very own table set for Shabbos, puppet shows, singing and dancing! #ybr #gelc #ybrpreschools #grandshabbosparty #shabbos #shabbat #educatingforlife

13.01.2022 Creating boiled bagels in the Albert Dadon Family Culinary Centre kitchen this week! Our Year 8 boys shaped and boiled delicious bagels, choosing from a selection of seed toppings to make them their own. Truly an example of Yeshivah-Beth Rivkah "educating for life"! #ybr #yeshivah #yeshivahcollege #boyscancook #bageltime #delicious #cookingelective #educatingforlife

10.01.2022 Our mini MasterChefs at GELC kinders participated in a MasterChef Shabbos Style, with each class creating their favourite Shabbos dish to present to our esteemed panel of food experts - our "judges" Morah Barbara, Morah Daleet and Morah Andi! From Apple Kugel and Chocolate Cake to Vegetable Soups and Fruit Kebabs it was a fun-filled day full of peeling, chopping and baking! Families enjoyed a delightful 2-part MasterChef video sharing each classes MasterChef journey, and a ...keepsake recipe collection was compiled and produced for each child to take home. #ybr #shabbosfood #gelcmasterchef #minichefs #gelc #ybrpreschools #educatingforlife
