22.01.2022 What have you been getting up to in this time of restrictions? With lots of life slowing down, activity options being limited and many people being out of work or having to work from home, it can be hard to think of constructive ways to use your spare time. Its an incredible opportunity for creativity, spending time with your family and household or getting those odd jobs done that you haven't had the time to do before. One way that some of our volunteers have been enterta...ining themselves at home is by watching this beautiful series called 'The Chosen'. It has been such an encouragement and a great way to delve more into the life of our Jesus Christ and what his ministry would have looked like here on earth. Many tears have been shed whilst watching this God glorifying piece of work! In a world producing messages leading to destruction and darkness, we would encourage you to support our brothers and sisters who are working to create Kingdom productions leading people towards the heart of God. 20.01.2022 A couple weeks ago we said goodbye to our dear friend and faithful volunteer Meaghan, who has made the bold move to Brisbane to live with relatives and follow the Lord's guiding for her in this next season of life. This wonderful woman has been in intrinsic part of our Youth for Christ Northern Territory family since February 2019 and has already been sorely missed by our team and the young people she had been ministering to up here. Meaghan, you brought so much life and passion to the work of YFC NT and your support and servant heart nature has blessed us beyond words. We are so excited for what God has in store for you and although you are greatly missed by the crew in Darwin, you will always hold a special place in our hearts. We love you Megahan!

17.01.2022 Did you know that tomorrow is officially the last day that the beautiful Katie Mathieson is working with us in the Northern Territory? We want to thank you so much Katie for your love for the youth in Darwin and for sowing into their lives. You have certainly produced fruit that will last and we are so proud of you! 12.01.2022 Our friend Ox Roberts is the director of Scripture Union up here in the territory and also one of our amazing and faithful volunteers who ministers in the juvenile detention center with our YFC team. It is such a joy to have him around and here he has shared a bit of his testimony and how the Lord has transformed his life. Take a look!

08.01.2022 We want to give a massive thank you to everyone who participated in the last 40 days of prayer and fasting for the lost boy of Australia. A team of us have been fasting and praying since the 26th of February to see a miracle happen in the lives of young men, and we have left this time feeling incredibly encouraged and filled with hope that we will see many prodigal sons come home, many fathers restored to their families, many brothers reminded of who they are in Jesus Christ, and many souls transferred from the kingdom of darkness to God's Kingdom of Light!! And it doesn't stop here- may these last 40 days be a catalyst for prayer for not only the lost boy, but also for the women and children and whole Nation that we live in. May your Kingdom come and your mighty redeeming will be done Father!

01.01.2022 Our team absolutely loves going into the Juvenile Detention Center to hang out with the young people there! We get to have lots of fun doing games, sports & music and having good hang times with them. However, THE MOST impactful thing we see is when the Holy Spirit reaches these young people's hearts. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation and there is nothing more powerful or effective in seeing transformation for anyone's life! Some of these young pe...ople have received Jesus as their Lord and saviour, or been reminded of Him as their first love, and we have seen incredible changes of heart as they get to read the gospel (sometimes in their own language) and learn more about who God is and who He has made them to be. Please keep praying with us for open doors into the Juvie and open hearts of these young people as we have the privilege of entering that space and sharing the Good News with them. The love that God has for them is far beyond what they have experienced before and is only measurable by the finished work of the cross and the eternal life we have been given when we are in Christ Jesus, so we want to share it with them as much as possible! We are filled with hope and expectation for these wonderful young people, the love of God never fails!! Bless you all :)
