06.01.2022 The South coast always has those big skies and wide empty beaches - particularly in the east. There is always a fat noise, full of bracing sea breezes and wave action. The colours are washed out by salty winds and what remains are soft pastels. We see exotic birds from Siberia, tiger snakes in summer, whales over winter, wildflowers in all seasons but spectacular in late spring and summer and lots of other wild life to engage us. The watercolours convey the washed out colours and thick atmosphere well
