23.01.2022 It was great to be back in the hall today for our first playgroup for 2021. We welcomed back many familiar families and a warm welcome to many new families to. We had about 17 families come for a cuppa, some yummy morning tea, a chat and a play. The ball pit was probably the highlight with lots of kids going in and out to play. We made jellyfish, there was playdough, the very popular dolls house and Possums of Yinnar market stall. The bikes got a lot of use outside in the sunshine and we read a few stories to finish the session. Thanks to everyone for wearing your masks while inside. We look forward to another great catch up at the hall next Tuesday 9-11am.

16.01.2022 Another great morning for playgroup. This morning we enjoyed the sunshine at the Yinnar Park. It was great to see lots of familiar faces return to have a play and a catch up, we also welcomed a few more new faces which is great to see, everyone really enjoyed themselves. We had quoits, kids rolling in the tunnel, spinning on the equipment, swinging on the swings and playing on the mat with some toys. We look forward to seeing you all again in a couple of weeks for our last playgroup catch up for the year.

16.01.2022 YINNAR PLAYGROUP OPEN DAY THIS TUESDAY (9th Feb). Spread the word, come and check out our playgroup at the newly renovated Yinnar Memorial Hall anytime from 9am - 11am. We can't wait for all our children to socialise and have lots of fun together this year! Adults please ensure you socially distance and wear a mask.

15.01.2022 Can’t believe we did it! Today we had 24 great little kids come together for our playgroup Christmas party at the park. Well done parents for braving the warm weather. We shared lots of yummy treats and even had a visit from Santa! It was a fantastic morning! A massive Thankyou to our committee members! We can’t wait to be in our newly renovated hall next year for more Yinnar playgroup fun!

15.01.2022 Yinnar playgroup park play this TUESDAY 9:30am! We might not be able to meet indoors but we can play outside in the beautiful weather! This Tuesday (10th November) we have organised a play in the park at Boolarra. We would love to see lots of parents and kids join us! Please message Janelle szkwarek (0438 378 537) or use our Facebook page and let us know if you will be able to make it, just so we ensure we don’t go over our number restrictions. 13.01.2022 Hi all our lovely playgroup families! We are going to miss you all tomorrow morning at playgroup. Obviously we can’t meet and we are crossing our fingers that we will be good to go next week. We will keep you updated via our social media so check things out later in the week. 12.01.2022 This Tuesday (20th October) at 9:30am we are going to have our (virtual zoom) playgroup Annual General Meeting to start making plans for 2021. We invite all present playgroup families to attend, and any new families interested in coming to playgroup next year. We would love to have a chat, say hi, talk to you all and discuss plans for next year. We have a couple of people moving on to Kinder but also lots of young families new to our town who are interested in coming to playgroup. Over the last 6 years our playgroup has thrived and grown so much, it really is a wonderful group to be a part of, so lets plan for a great playgroup year in 2021! 11.01.2022 We’re back!!!! Tomorrow is Yinnar playgroup!! Yay! We have a great little art activity planned, the ball pit is back by popular demand and of course we have lots of bikes for outdoor riding in our enclosed outdoor space. Cuppas and something yummy for the parents, lots of great toys, book reading and songs - where would your little ones rather be? see you from 9am onwards at the yinnar hall xx

10.01.2022 A beautiful park play this morning with around 15 children and their caregivers. Welcome to all the new people who joined us today, it was so great to see everyone! As usual I was too busy having fun to take photos but here are some of crew having some of their morning tea together and James showing us his take home art activity. We also welcomed a couple of new families which is great! Boy are we all glad our kids can get out to a park and have a play! Looking forward to our next get together! 03.01.2022 Melts our hearts finally seeing these beautiful little children being able to play with their friends! A lovely day for a park play for playgroup. There was lots of chatting, bubbles, toys, balls, our parachute and the best bit - lots of sunshine and fun! Great to see some new families join us too! 02.01.2022 Hand up if your missing playgroup me me me! I know you are all hanging out to come back and play with your beautiful little ones, we miss our Tuesday morning... catchups! Our committee have been in constant contact over the last few months and playgroup Victoria have been in contact with information about starting up playgroup again. As a committee we have decided to wait until after the holidays to decide on when playgroup will start again, we have a lot to consider with numbers, cleaning processes, space to play etc. and we would like to see what happens with outbreaks over the next week or so before we decide on an exact date to give you all. I know this keeps us all waiting even longer but it’s super important that we make the right decision for our community. Keep watching this space and as soon as we know more we will let you all know.
