25.01.2022 GOOD NEWS! UPDATE: Practical driver tests to resume from June 15. Queensland learner drivers will be able to sit for their P-plates from June 15 after testing was suspended due to COVID-19.... To make sure tests are conducted safely, there will be some new measures in place including a pre-screening health checklist, cleaning and disinfectant procedures. Extra driving examiners and Saturday driving tests will mean more tests can be conducted sooner, and priority will be given to learner drivers who had tests booked prior to COVID-19. 18.01.2022 Unfortunately, although Peak Driving has temporarily stopped conducting driving lessons as our focus is to keep students and their families, as well as ourselves safe from the spread of Coronavirus. "L Platers can continue to earn their logbook hours" QUEENSLAND learner drivers can continue to earn their 100 hours supervised driving requirement during the coronavirus crisis, despite the suspension of practical driving tests. However, a Transport and Main Roads spokesman said learner drivers and their families, like all Queenslanders, should adhere to the latest health advice.

If you have a lesson booked and are experiencing any flu-like symptoms (sore throats, cough, cold) please get in touch to postpone your lesson (even if it is on the day). The same goes from our instructors' side, if any of us are experiencing any flu symptoms, we may get in touch with you at short notice to move your lesson out for a few days. 03.01.2022 **Car test update from TMR!** Bookings are being prioritised for people who had their car test cancelled due to COVID-19 and those who are eligible for a priority test. From Monday 22 June, all customers who previously had a booking cancelled due to COVID-19 can book a new test by calling 13 23 80 between 8am and 5pm. The online booking service for car tests is currently unavailable.... Customers who do not qualify for a priority test should continue to check for updates at qld.gov.au/trans/covid-19-transport/practical-driving-tests.
