25.01.2022 #FGF - the power of family

25.01.2022 #repost Di Farmer MP Thanks again to everyone for going above and beyond this last 3 days. We’ve all done so well.... The lockdown will finish at 6 pm tonight. However there’ll still be some restrictions till 1 am on 22 January, mainly to do with wearing a mask. Some details: Masks need to be worn in all indoor settings, such as retail venues, shopping centres, cinemas, supermarkets, places of worship and cultural centres and including while on public transport, taxis and rideshare vehicles Indoor retail dining venues are required to maintain a venue capacity of 4 square metres per person, with 1 person per 2 square metres for outdoor areas Smaller venues of a size up to 200 sqm are required to have capacity of 1 person per 2sqm up to a maximum of 50 Indoor concert venues or theatres: 50% capacity or 1 person per 4 sqm whichever is greater Hospitality workers are required to wear masks at all times Public gatherings are capped at 20 people both at home and in public spaces The Gabba’s (and all outdoor stadiums) capacity will be reduced to 50%, with masks required to be worn entering and exiting the venue and also while moving around the stadium over after 6 pm tonight. A Roadmap will be released later today, and the COVID 19 website will be continually updated as queries arise. Please keep checking this, at www.covid19.qld.gov.au My electorate office is open again today after the break though, in line with the lockdown, not open to the public. Please phone on 39142100 or email [email protected]

16.01.2022 Community Consultation Just before Christmas, we mentioned on our Facebook page that we were going to have a Community Consultation meeting in the New Year so that we can find out what you, the community, would like to see here at the Cannon Hill Community Centre (in terms of services, groups and activities). We will be announcing the date of the Community Consultation shortly, however we are wondering if the community would also like one to be held in the evening so that ...those who are working during the day can attend and share their ideas? Would an evening meeting as well as a day time meeting be of interest to anyone? We would love to see as many people attend as possible as we know many of you have such wonderful ideas for this amazing space.
